Greg,

  1. If you can make any LEGO theme, what would it be?
  2. What HF set do you prefer for me to get? I can't decide whether it should be Rocka or Furno?
  3. Do they still sell the Hero Factory novels?
  4. What's your favorite video game?

Do the comics tell the story too, or just the graphic novels?

Hi!

1. I was thinking about names such as Tobduk and Jerbraz, which were based off of people's names, and then I realized that Gresh could have come from your name. Is that how you originally came up with it?

2. In addition to all the other elements, do Skakdi of Light or Shadow exist? Could Skakdi of non-elemental powers, such as Acid, exist?

3. What's your process for writing short stories, such as "The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet?" Do you give the characters free reign like in your longer works, or since you have less space do you conform to an outline to make sure you touch on everything you want to?

Thank you for your time!

Hey again Greg,

When you first started working on BIONICLE what did you think of the franchise? Also, if you were originally planning on ending BIONICLE in its first year, what other years did LEGO plan on cancelling it? You said that the Rahkshi saved the franchise early on suggesting that it might have ended in 2002 or 03 for example. What is your favorite BIONICLE set that's a titan or warrior, or basically one of the sets that isn't a canister set?

In other subjects not related to BIONICLE, what music do you listen to? I myself am into classic rock, alternative, punk, and hip hop. Do you play any instruments?

Anyways, have a good one mate. (Which is ironic for me since I live in the US and I'm not even Brittish or Australian)

1) I thought it was amazing. And yes, the original story bible was designed to end the story in 2001 - nobody knew how BIONICLE would sell and if it wasn't a hit we would have had to wrap it up in a year. 3) The Bohrok Kal did not sell well, so there was some danger before the Rahkshi came out. 4) I don't really have a favorite.

2) Jazz

Greg Farshtey,

1.If you had to battle a Makuta and you could choose one Kanohi and on Bionicle weapon, what would you choose?

2.Why does Mr. Makuro look so much like a Turaga?

3.if you could have a pet rahi which one would you choose?

4.(this question may be already asked) What`s it like working for LEGO?

5.in your opinion, which one is better, Piraka or Barraki?

6.if you had to suggest a Bionicle set to someone, which one would you suggest?

7.out of all the Toa Nuva Kanohi which one (in your opinion) is the most powerful?

8.Which Makuta is your favorite?

9.how fast will the the Kanohi Kakama let you go?

1) I don't really do hypothetical questions. I get enough of the real kind.

2) I never noticed that he did. Regardless, I am not a designer so not a question I could answer.

3) Probably none, since I have a 2 year old.

4) Some days it is wonderful, and some days it is both wonderful and a job

5) Better in what way? Sets? Characters?

6) No idea. I paid a lot more attention to characters than I did sets

7) Too long ago, don't remember

8) Teridax

9) Don't recall off the top of my head

Greg, what is a graphic novel anyways? I remember reading Legends of Metru Nui, Beware the Bohrok, and Power Play when I was a kid and they all seemed like normal books to meConfused.

Those were chapter books. Graphic novels are collections of comics or else just something book-length written in comic book form.

When I searched Power Play it said it was Bionicle Legends 3. I don't read comics so what should I do to read the Bionicle story? Are there a series of chapter books? Also, it says Power Play was written by you.

The first three chapter books -- BIONICLE Chronicles, pretty much covers 2001-2003 main story. After that, the chapter books became more side stories with  main story covered more in the comics and the movies.

Oh okay. I thought there was a book for every movie though? I have read Legends of Metru Nui, I know there's a Web of Shadows book, and I think there's a Mask of Light and The Legend Reborn book too.

There was a novelization for every movie, yes.

The last one, because I wrote the story for it.
