Hi! Some people on BZPower have had questions about the new Matoran traits, so I thought I'd share them with you.

1. It's been said that Su-Matoran probably prefer hot climates like Ta-Matoran do. Does this mean they have limited heat resistance (but not to the same extent as Ta-Matoran) as well as eye protection, or do they just prefer warmth more than other Matoran do?

2. Also, do Ta and Ko-Matoran have temperature resistance in the sense that they feel just as hot/cold as other Matoran but can handle extreme temperatures better, or do they actually sense temperature differently? So, for example, Ta-Matoran might always feel 15 degrees Fahrenheit colder than other Matoran, in which case when it feels like 90 degrees to other Matoran, it would only feel like 75 degrees to Ta-Matoran.

2. Do you think overload from the Fa-Matoran's internal compass would result in mental pain/irritation of some kind? If so, do you think they would try to avoid industrial or stormy regions?

Thank you!

1) The latter

2) No, that's not how I see it. I see it more like the way a desert dweller is better adjusted to the heat than someone in a temperate climate. They are feeling the same heat, it simply does not  bother them because they are used to it.

3) I would say  no, simply because we have not saddled other Matoran tribes with built-in flaws to their abiltiies, so why start now?

I have another question:

Does the Ignika still have its old properties of cursing those who touch and things like that, even after all its been through and Mata Nui living inside it?

Thank you for your time.

I don't understand your question. Are you asking how the art is for Book 9? No idea. I don't see the art until the book comes out.

Four things:

1. Are you said that Matoro is dead?*

2. If you could get any BIONICLE set right now, what would it be?

3. Did you right some of the serials? (ex. Dark Mirror, Dreams of Destruction, The Yesterday Quest) And, if so, which ones?

*It's sad that Matoro never thought he was a true hero. Do you agree?

1) I would be sad if his death had been meaningless. But he had probably the most  meaningful death in the history of BIONICLE and he proved himself to be a true hero.

2) I pretty much have the ones I wanted

3) I wrote all of them

1) No more sad than I am about any other character dying, and less than some - although I wrote for Matoro, I didn't create him. It's harder to kill characters you have created.

2) I would have liked more sets of characters I created

3) I wrote all the serials, including the ones that aren't finished.

Discussions on 2014 stuff will happen whenever LEGO Company officially releases  information on them. But the odds are most of that talk will happen in the related forums (Ninjago in the Ninjago forum, etc.) as opposed to  in here. I'm not a set designer so I don't have that much to add to discussions of new sets.
