This, this is FANTASTIC! Happy Nerd Anyway, I have two questions. If your overloaded with questions right now, there's no need to give these any priority. Wink

1. Will you continue The Yesterday's Quest and Powers That Be?

2. Where could they be continued?

1) I don't have plans to right now.

2) As far as I know, there is no place where they could be continued.

Thank you so much for answering my questions, Mr. Farshety. I actually have another one:

Are the physical appearances of the element lords, as shown in All Our Sins Remembered, canon?

As with before, there is no need to give this one priority; I can wait. Smile

GREG!

Joking First off I'd like to give you wa warm welcome to the LMB community! Happy It's great to finally see a designer/story guy here from LEGO. You're our first "staff" member here. *Looks* Well, one of the first. The first one I've seen, the second one that's posted. Joking It's also great to be able to see you especially.

Ever since I really read the Bio comics and gone into Bio (I came in on the tail end, my first LEGO magazine was actually the issue right before Glatorian started, and I was young and not as interested then), I've become a fanatic. I won't bother getting into details any farther. Joking Anyhow, this is deffinately my favorite theme, I mean, it's so deep-I don't even have any of the figures myself except my brother's old Tahu Nuva (which is proudly displayed on the mantle, position changing to my mood). It really was a universe, and Bionicle could be just as good without the toy-it's not really just a toy, but a story in itself. That's where it differs from all the other themes. It has depth, anda truly full fleged story. It was my suprise that Ninjago was so deep actually, as it's more aimed towards a younger audience. I really want another theme like Bionicle, but I don't thik anythinwould compare. It seems I should ask a few questions while you're here.

1) I've listened to the podcast "The Truth" from the Bionicle site before it was taken down, and came up with one question: Is Mata Nui and the endless ocean outside the Mata Nui Robot while Metru Nui is inside?

2) Why can't you just give us the info like the TSO's name? Or are you holding out hope Bio would be revived and can use it then? Joking

3) I've read all the comics (and gotten many of the books from the library), but there is still apperantly a LOT I don't know. Where was all this info given? Was it all in the BIoniclestory.com serials, or somewhere else? Btw, you could finish on BZPower or the BioMedia Project.

Hello Greg! I am not to much of a fan of your books or Bionicle (The first time I opened a bioncle package I got into a super bad car crash. I mean, exactly as I opened it. Bad expiennce!), and I dont watch TV so I want able to see your series Ninjago, but I was able to catch some of the seasons on YouTube. I have to say, they were pretty good.

How did you come up with such good character traits? Any reason why you picked the name "Ninjago"? Did you have any idea what your plot would grow into?

Somee other questions: I am a big fan of Star Wars. Are you?    I am writing a new book on a Verpine Jedi called Beyghor Sahdett. (The Verpine are a specis of insects that are interligent from SW). Any idea what I shoudl call the book?

Hi -- I didn't create Ninjago, I just write the graphic novels for it. I did so some Star Wars work back when I was in the game industry, but not a ton at LEGO. My staffer, Daniel Lipkowitz, is the big SW guy here.

Hey Greg, know how long you will be doing this? Is it just for a few days, or will you be doing this for a while?

I am planning to stick with it for as long as I can. It's something I enjoy getting to do. Since BIONICLE ended, I don't really do much in the way of school/library appearances anymore, so this is a chance to hear what the audience is wondering about.

1) Yes, very well. 2) That was so long ago I don't remember. 3) It was basically overlaid, sort of like if you put one coat of paint over another coat of paint. The first coat is still there, you just can't see it.

1) I met you shortly after that contest, because of that contest. My brother was one of the winners.

2) Ha ha! Okay.

3) Interesting...

Thanks! Happy

And one more question... Who picked Matoro to be the one to save Mata Nui? You?

And why Matoro?

I did, yes. And I picked Matoro because he felt that he wasn't doing enough to be a hero ... he didn't really feel worthy of his power. So I thought it would be cool if he did the most heroic thing of all.

Hello Greg!

Have you played LEGO Universe?

No,  my schedule didn't allow me the time to do that.

(I know other people asked it) Oh, and I wanted to say another thing, YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL!Heart

I haven't heard anything about any plans to bring it back. But it was a great property and LEGO owns it, so I like to think someday,  maybe ... But that's just me wishing, not based on anything.

I didn't create either one. I have done graphic novels for Ninjago and short stories for Chima, but I have no involvement in the TV series or the overall story for the year.

Today started out as any normal day... I had a wierd dream and slept in late. I then checked out the BIO forum as usual, only to make a shocking discovery: IT'S GREG FARSHTEY IN PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!

I slapped myself multiple times to see if I was dreaming, but alas, THIS IS A MIRACLE!

I just wanted to tell you I am a dedicated fan of BIONICLE, and do love your works. The plot twists and character depths really inspire me as an author myself.

Anyways, question time!

1. When I write BIONICLE stories, it is hard to put Chuteseak/Treespeak in it. I know you never liked it, but any tips on what fits and what doesn't?

2. Were you dissapointed that BIONICLE was sceduled to end earlier?

3. You were said to be able to finish The Powers That Be, but now there's no more BIONICLEstory.com for you to post it on. If you were able to get it up, where would you put it?

That's all my baffled head can think of now...

I think I might've been answered, but never adressed...

1) Oh, I hated treespeak. I would try to help you but I have done my best to forget that part of the experience.
2) I am sure all fans were.

3) No idea.

It's great to meet you!  I have all of the Ninjago graphic novels (always buy them the day they come out. Wink), and was wondering how many more you're writing for 2014.

Also, is Zane going to be the main villain, or is it another group of Nindroids?

Thanks! Happy

Two are on the schedule right now, but I can't discuss plot.

Since BIONICLE is no longer an active line, there are no plans for more comics.
