We never really introduced the concept of Silver Surfer-style cosmic power into BIONICLE. It's pretty obvious that Mata Nui was not run by cosmic power, so I doubt the GBs were using that, and we did not give Mata Nui access to that in story.

1) My guess is because sales had been steadily declining for a while and it was felt that it was better to shut the line down while it was still somewhat successful rather than wait until it died. If you ever want to bring it back, you want retailers to remember it as something that sold good or really good, not as something that wasn't selling at all at the end.

2) You would need to contact LEGO Customer Service about that. It's not a question I can answer.

Which year of BIONICLE had the best characters/plot for you to write?  How does the Red Star attach to the Great Spirit Robot?

2007 was fun, as I recall.

It attaches to his back, like a jetpack.

Greg, in the Bionicle universe as of the end of Bionicle, where is the Mask of Life now?

Hey, Greg, I have a question. When you write books for Bionicle, do you make up the personalities for some set characters like Takadox, or is it entirely made by LEGO already. Also, who was the hardest character for you to write in your entire career as a LEGO employee?

It has been said that Nocturn lost his temper and shattered his home island with only one punch; are all of his species this strong, or is he unique?

There was usually a general write-up of the character's personality in the story bible, which I then expanded on if necessary for the books. The hardest characters to write for were characters like the Vahki, who basically had no personality
