1) Yes, there are more Ninjago graphic novels planned for 2014.

2) Kopaka

3) Chima did not replace anything. Ninjago will be back in 2014 with more sets and more TV episodes.

Welcome to the LEGO MESSAGE BOARDS!!! I'm your biggest fan!!! Okay now for the questions, before I get overwhelmed by GregF's patented brand of epicness.

1. Do you have any plans to continue Bionicle stories?

2. Will a Shadow Toa finally make a starring appearance?

3. Could you please make a Facebook page so we can contact you?

4. Will Zaktan from an alternate dimension ever get to the main dimension of Bionicle? I'm a huge Zaktan fan!

5. If you ever get the rights to Bionicle, would you partner with a major corporation, such as Marvel, DC, or Dark Horse?

6. How is Mazeka both a boss and a Matoran? The two don't usually go hand in hand. Joking

7. Will you ever name the Golden Skinned Being?

8. Is there any limit to your epicness?

9. Sorry I'm swamping you with questions, I'm a crazy fan boy. Joking

OMYGOSHOMYGOSHOMYGOSHOMYGOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am an enormous fan of your work! I've been with Bionicle since its debut, and I have read and thoroughly enjoyed every one of the books! My favorite of the bunch is Adventures #9, Time Trap, which leads to my question: Was it your idea to write the plot-expanding/fulfilling books like Maze of Shadows, Time Trap, and Voyage of Fear, or was it LEGO's?

A stupid question, I know, but I've always wondered about that. Joking

NNot at all a stupid question. Basically, this was born out of necessity. Scholastic had their schedule of books and in some cases they had more early or late in the year than were needed to cover main storyline (or else most of main story was going to be in a movie). So I had to write "side stories" ... which is pretty much the same thing I do with Ninjago now. The main story for that is the TV series, the graphic novels are side adventures.

Hi LC - I don't really do autographs anymore, because back when I did, I got a lot of stuff sent in and I didn't have time to get my work done. Smile Not sure what you mean by where to start with BIONICLE? And no, I don't know of any plans to bring BIONICLE back.

Oh. That's alright.  Smile Joking Well anyways, by where to start in BIONICLE, I mean what would I have to watch/read first to get the storyline?
Oh, okay... why did it end, though? Also, are you going to be a regular member on the MBs? We'd love to have you here!

Happy

1) Well, if you wanted to go in chronological story order, I would read/watch the 2004 stuff first, then 2005, and then go back to 2001-2003.

2) I think LEGO just wanted to try a new direction after so many years.

3) I hope to be, if time allows

Okay I'm a huge fan of the Bionicle artwork I saw in one of the Brickmaster 2010 article. It looked really cool. Maybe if you had a 2010 LEGO Magizine The Best Of Brickmaster 2010 book you could find what I was talking about. Who did that artwork cause I love it! I even used the style in one of my drawings! I know it'll be hard to find what I'm talking about. Maybe you could get your hand on a copy of the March/April 2010 issue it wich it's in. Please reply!

Even if I found it, doubt I would remember who did it.

Ahh. Okay. I understand. Then can you tell me who did most of the artwork for the Bionicle aduio things on their website? That was really cool! If not then it's okay. Sorry art is one of my hobbies.

Do you mean things like the original web game?

Um, I'll just ask again. Joking
But a different question. Happy
1. Do you appreciate your fans on the LMBs?
2. How many books will there be in all?(for the Ninjago books? Happy)
3. Well, not a question, but...YOU'RE AWESOME! (>'.')>

Do you find it weird that Kai means water in Japanese?

Not really, no. Proper names are usually not trademarked, and as long as it doesn't mean something offensive, we can use it. It is really hard coming up with character names that don't already belong to somebody else.

I write the Papercutz Ninjago graphic novels.

So that's why those are so cool. Joking.

Oooh, here's a question I'm sure someone's already asked (Joking): Which year of BIONICLE was your Favorite?

Keep in mind that Zaktan is essentially a mutant. Things that might be expected to work on someone normal might not work the same on him.

Hey, may I please ask, what happened to bionicles? Bionicles was epic, but why has it suddenly just dissapeared? Disappointed Crying Confused I don't know

BIONICLE had been around for nine years when the decision was made to end it. I think after such a long time, there were signs of waning fan interest and LEGO Company decided to try a different direction.

Hi Greg!

I don't know a lot about you, but I DO know a lot about Ninjago and Bionicle!
Here's my question: How do you get ideas for your stories and graphic novels???

P.S. I might start to read your stories and graphic novels. Wink

Sorry if I am asking you about something that you already answered because of how busy this part of the MBs is...

Hello again, Mr. Farshtey!

I'm sorry I made two separate posts for my questions, but I forgot this question that I always wanted to ask:

Did you come up with the storyline for BIONICLE before the sets were designed, or did you work with the sets are provide a plot for them?

Usually what would happen would be this. There would be an agreement on a really broad storyline -- the Toa are going to be underwater, for example, and the villains will be this -- and then the set designers would go to work. When they were done, we would start deciding who all the characters were and what they could do and fleshing out the story more,
