This might seem like a strange question, but I've been wondering. Where the trees on Mata Nui the same types in real life (Oak, spruce, ect.) or some different type only found in Bionicle.

Dear Greg,
Why is Nuju so rude that he refuses to talk normally and only talks in rahi, and he refuses to tell the story of metru nui with the other Turaga. He's cold man! Cheerio!

I doubt they would have been the same as we have -- it would have been artificial plant life grown to disguise Mata Nui, after all, not real trees.

Nuju wanted to make sure the other Turaga remembered the consequences of what happened in Metru Nui way back when, and his way of doing it was to speak Rahi to remind them of the Hordika. And he felt it was dangerous to share that story with others, after all, they had kept it secret for 1000 years.
