Here are some questions I have:

1. Are you ever going to finish the story serials, or since BIONICLEstory.com is no longer existent, are you going to leave us hanging?

2. In Ninjago, how does Traveler's Tea work? Is it sort of like the Kanohi Olmak?

3. How come you allowed time travel in Ninjago and not in BIONICLE?

4. Is the Overlord really defeated? Or is he still somewhere out there?

Thanks for writing these great stories!

1) At this point, I don't have time to work on them and there is no place to post them anymore.

2) Not something I am familiar with

3) I didn't -- I have nothing to do with main story in Ninjago, I just write the graphic novels. Time travel has not appeared in the graphic novels.

4) Can't answer this

Will hero factory and bionicle be fighting evil together in a new novel you could make? I want to know because I think bionicle and hero factory should be in a series so they can fight evil together in a new novel or something. Also I am wondering if they could allow you to do that series (if you want to!) but sell the figures of bionicle in hero factory pieces. Please let me know!

Hero Factory and BIONICLE are not part of the same story universe.

Hey Greg,

You probably won't remember or know who I am, but we used to talk a lot about BIONICLE on BZPower back in the day, and you'd help get information for us at BIONICLEsector01.

Anyways, I just wanted to ask if you ever have plans to reveal The Shadowed One's name/identity to us. Joking

Nope

Right now, we are planning #9 and #10 for 2014. No idea if there will be more after that.

1) No

2) Because his ... strangeness ... made a lot more sense if you considered that he was actually a Great Being. In some ways, his manner of speech was a way of toying with his creations.

Mr. Farshtey, do you and the LEGO company plan to create another theme similar to Bionicle or Hero Factory?

Hello, Mr. Farshtey.

I can't believe I just typed that.

Anyways, I could spend all day lavishing praise on you and your library of work, but I'll just say THANKS for the donations you've made to the worlds of Ninjago, Bionicle, Hero Factory, and all of your other contributions. Smile

I've got a few questions for you.

Could you give me some writing tips? How do you make your characters so compelling? Or your environments so lifelike?

Can you give me some insights into the life of a Bionicle? Where do they come from? What's the deal with the "Red Star Reincarnation" thing? If not robots exactly, what are they? Some kind of bio-organic life form? How did the universe come into being?

How did you come to be here on the MBs, answering questions? What was your reaction? Do you like the Messageboards?

Which if any LEGO sets do you have?

How did you come up with your username?

Have you ever had a dream about Bionicle, or something else you were writing?

That's probably more than enough questions. Thank you for your time! Wink

I will get back to you later on these, if that's okay. There's a lot here.

Mr.Farshtey

some questions:

Why are you using the name ScribeGT6817? and not Greg Farshtey?

Me and a lot of other folks on biomediaproject.com want to know if you are going to write a continuation to The Powers That Be?

Why did LEGO close Bionicle?

Me and my brother bought a full set of bohrok-kal off E-bay the other day and I want to know what heads the krana fit onto?

When are you going to continue the BIONICLE storyline?

No plans to at the moment. No one at LEGO is asking for it to be continued and with BIONICLEstory.com gone, there is no place to continue it.

Hi Greg,

First of all, thanks for all of your fantastic work over the years!  Your stories are always great reads, and they link together really well.

My question is this; although it's been a long time now since Bionicle ended and you're a very busy man, would you ever like to release the remaining chapters of "The Yesterday Quest" and/or "The Powers That Be"?

I'm not sure with the Bionicle website being taken down now if you could, or it would have to be released unofficially elsewhere, or if you simply wouldn't be allowed, simply not have the time or would just prefer to leave it as it is.  I'm not one of these people who will run around begging you to bring back Bionicle, but it would be nice to have a couple of the loose ends tied up.

I imagine (although as I said, you may not be able to say) that you have ideas as to what would have happened to Kopaka, Pohatu and Mavrah on the Red Star and it would be great to hear how that ends, if Lewa is safe, and what becomes of the brainwashed Toa Inika?

Hope to hear something from you but as there are many, many pages, it's no problem if you can't/don't!  Keep up the great work! Smile

No additional chapters exist, they would need to be written, and right now with my other commitments and my daughter to take care of I don't have the free time to write them.

Greg, I have two questions for you:

1. Which Toa do you think you identified most with?

2. When Makuta got hit in the head with one of the chunks in the last series, that that nearly destroy Metru Nui?

P.S. I have to let my inner fan out somewhere: OH MY god! GREG FARSHTEY! SO AWESOME SO AWESOME AAAAAAHHHHAAAAAAHHHHHHAAAAAHH!

*Passes out*

I really didn't "identify" with any of them. They're heroes and bio-mechanical beings of action, and I'm a writer. They fight evil, I sit behind a desk and type Smile

Damaged it, yes.

3) Yes

4) Just that I think graphic novels are harder to write.Novels are a lot longer but easier.

5) Don't have one

6) Probably #7, cause I got to invent lots of new characters

7) Haven't played it. No time.

1) No, I have also written novels for Hero Factory and as Editorial Director for the LEGO Club Magazine I have written about pretty much all the themes the last 13 years

2) Not really up to me, comes down to what I am asked to do.
