1) This makes sense. Are there any of these theories that we've come up with that you like the best? Do you have any preferred reason for Velika giving them sentience as of yet?

2) In a related area, I've been wondering: Just how benevolent are/were the Great Beings? Mata Nui himself seems to imply that they were wise and good - were all the GB's benevolent at the start, and then, like humans, some became bad or went insane? Are some GB's still good and would want to stop Velika, were they to know what he wants to do?

3) On that thought, have the other GB's thought about where Velika went? They probably would have missed him after a while.

4) Lastly, what exactly is Velika's moral situation? Is he bad through and through, like Teridax, or is he just confused, or (I find this idea interesting) does he genuinely believe that he is doing the right thing?

Greg, I think that these questions got buried, along with the following post.

1) Not a preferred theory, no, but I do think we can take as a given that Velika was responsible.

2) To answer your last question first, yes, some would try to stop him, probably most. But as for good or bad .. they were scientists, Scientists discover cures for diseases -- or unleash plagues -- not out of good or evil, but because they CAN.

3) He probably made a big show of going into exile so they wouldn't be concerned about him

4) He definitely believes he is doing the right thing. Conquerors usually do. He feels that a lack of direct control by the GBs caused the crisis, and he is determined to remedy that.

Why aren't you answering Greg?!

Who are you talking to? My answers are in the section you quoted above.

Never mind thats ok.

Hello!

In “Brothers In Arms”, it is mentioned that Mazeka had a mentor with whom he was doing research with on the “origin of all things”. The mentor later was killed by Vultraz.

1. Has the mentor been a Ko-Matoran like Mazeka?

2. If he had a different element, could you specify, which one?

Thank you for your time!

Another round of questions. These pertain to Toa destinies.

  1. Do Orde, Chiara, and Zaria have a shared destiny as a team? (Perhaps to find the Great Beings?)
  2. Do or did the Toa Hagah have a team destiny? (Perhaps to steal the Kanohi Avohkii, or to help with the Great Rescue? Or something else entirely?)
  3. Did the Toa Mangai have a team destiny? (Perhaps to defeat the Kanohi Dragon?)
  4. Did you have any specific destinies in mind for... Lesovikk? (Perhaps to defeat Karzahni?); Krakua? (Something to do with that island fortress in the future?); Helryx? Dume? Tuyet?

Thank you for your time, as always.

Hi Greg,

As many others have said, I am a massive fan of your work. I just wanted to run a theory by you (I composed it at 1:30 in the morning, so be merciful if it makes no sense Joking).

For strong-willed telepaths, couldn't the Krana be seen as a way of attaining a form of immortality?

The Krana are organic, sentient, intelligent creatures; they are living things. If, say, a Makuta was to transfer his mind into the form of a Krana, supress the Krana's intelligence (effectively severing its connection to the Bahrag) and completely dominate it, then they could basically attain some form of immortality? This would come with the added benefit of being able to take control of any body that appeals to them. And we know this kind of method of transferring one's spirit exists, since Teridax did it to Mata Nui with the Ignika.

The difference is, those were special circumstances. Most Kanohi are just objects. I assume most telepathic minds probably wouldn't be able to transfer their essence into a rock or a sword or any other kind of object. They need a living receptible to inhabit. Whilst Kanohi are object, krana are living, sentient, organic creatures. And just like any other living thing, there is a possibility they could be dominated and controlled by an especially strong will, no?

Hopefully, this doesn't come across as too bonkers. Joking

Greg, is it really you? If so, then I have some questions for ya!

1. Would you be on board for Bionicle having a bigger role in the LEGO Movie sequel?

2. Were you aware of (or if you weren't, give backstory to :3) Piraka 66157 & 66158?

3. What's your favourite "combiner" set?

4. How do you feel of Bionicle being intermixed with regular LEGO/minifigures?

Thanks in advance if you could answer any of these! Angel

Got more questions.

1. As to the Hagah's destiny I have a theory. when they stole the mask of light and brought it too mata-nui they either A did not acheive their destiny and thus not become turaga yet or B that wasn't there destiny or C it was but they couldn't become turaga because they were already rahaga. and when they became toa again did they get a new destiny or did they have too complete a past one. please tell me what one is most likely.

2. if there was some wierd time flux or something that caused a LEGO minifigure and a bionicle to in the same place would the size be more like minifig scale bionicle sets or like the action figures by comparison to the minifigs.

3. How exactly does adaptive armor react to golden armor would it adapt to compensate or have to be removed entirely also if exposed to a mutagen such as water from the pit then would it keep its wearer safe from the effects or would it simply change so that the altered wearer can survive.

3. In the movies witch I already know were slightly different from canon it was mentioned that "The great spirit guides you in ways you could not imagine" was that just Matoran superstition or mata-nui actually guiding them subconsiously witch I guess they could not imagine his current situation.

To possibly shed some light on the question, all of the Bionicle cameos in the Studios online Backlot game, the "Black Eyed Piece" music video and TLM, and additionally all of Hero Factory's cameos in various LEGO Club material all had the Constraction figures in their original scale.

I haven't been asked to yet, UCN. If Papercutz wants me to do more, then of course I will, but as of this date I have not heard about there being more in 2015.

1) It doesn't really matter if I would be on board or not, since I have nothing to do with the films. But to this and #4, I would probably say no. We had a fairly strict policy during the time BIONICLE was active that we would not make fun of it, because it would detract from the epic feel. So I personally would not put it in the movie.

2) That was 8 years ago, I really don't recall.

3) I can't recall having one.

Will a new ninjago season air? If so, when, and can you tell us how much episodes are in it?

Ah, okay. They did make a joke on it in TLM, but it was extremely brief and was also talking about other themes (Fabuland, Speed Racer & Friends).  Thanks for answering!

You're going to need to refresh my memory, the Metru Nui arc was 9-10 years ago.
