No, it has been confirmed they cannot use their power on their own bodies.

Hi there. After you revealed that some of the 2009 characters we met on Bara Magna were informants for Velika, I ran a thread on BZPower where forumgoers discussed and debated which characters were the most likely suspects. I was wondering if any of their top guesses were accurate.

In order, the top suspects were VastusAtakusBerix, and Metus.

Were any of these characters secretly working as informants for Velika?

Thank you for your time.

How do the powerless masks of Matoran function to keep them alive? Are they like an amplifier that keep bodily functions going of is it something else?

There appears to be something inherent in the connection between body and mask that is essential to functioning. What exactly that is has never been defined in a story bible. I think they figured it was enough just to say that it was so, without going into an explanation.

Hey Greg:

1) This might be a hard question to understand. When matoran are said to be "programmed," is their programming the same as what we understand to be programming (i.e. 1's and 0's, binary logic) or is it something different altogether?

2a) Also: You also said that as a species, most Glatorian are not stronger than humans. However, you also confirmed that Spherus Magna's gravity is greater than that of Earth's due to its size. Wouldn't SM's higher gravity force the Glatorian to adapt to their environment by having greater muscle mass, making them stronger than humans? I mean, I can't really imagine Gresh doing his signature back flip combat move on a world with a higher gravity than Earth's if his strength was that of a human's.

2b) Linking into the previous question, shouldn't Glatorian be stronger than humans even if SM's gravity isn't greater than Earth's by the virtue that they're bigger than us? I believe you stated that most Glatorian are about 7 feet tall, which would make them about a foot taller than the average human. It's a general rule of thumb that the taller the person/being, the bigger his skeleton would be, and the more muscle mass his body could support.

1) No idea.

2) If you are saying, if a Glatorian came to Earth, would he be stronger than the average Human, then yes ... but that wasn't what I was asked. On their own planet, with their own gravity, I am saying that they are  not proportionately stronger than a human (keeping in mind that there are humans who are extremely strong). Yes, they are fighters by trade ... so are boxers, so on their planet, they could be as strong as a human boxer on Earth. (I don't know about the height thing, although I can't think of a lot of basketball players who are considered to be stronger than everyone else.)

Hello,

On Daxia, appearantly there was a statue depicting a Bohrok along with a Av-Matoran to show the relations between them. The Av-Matoran here looks strikingly similar to Balta, a rebuilt Matoran of Voya Nui. Now now, I know the obvious reason that they used Balta was because the artist found it easier to use a Matoran already existing than to make up how a Av-Matoran would look, blah blah ect ect. What I would want to know is if there is a story-reason behind this. Is that Matoran that there is a statue of a rebuilt Av-Matoran who wears a Huna, as in, was there a rebuilt Av-Matoran who wore a Huna, and had the statue made after him/her?

No, there was no story reason.

The Toa Stones the Toa Metru created, are they still usable?

I mean, Takua used them to SUMMON the Toa Mata, but they weren't really used in a sense right? Weren't the purpose of them when the Metru created them was so that they could bring into being a new generation of toa?

And question 2.

Could a Toa team of 6 theoretically created 36 new Toa? Lhikan used his Toa Power to bring into being 6 new Toa, if a Toa Team of 6 all gave up their powers they could create 6 new teams.

And third, if a Toa was on its dying moments, could he quickly release his Toa Power into 6 stones in the last minutes of life to create more toa?

No, yes, and yes.

Hello Mr. Greg.

Do you think that prior to the shattering that some of the inhabitants of Spherus Magna may have used Sea Squids for some purpose, be it weaponry, food, or something?

Thanks

I tend to doubt it. They wouldn't be very appetizing, and they wouldn't be much use as weaponry since if you took them out of the water they would just die.

1) Based on the fact that Mata Nui has never flown outside of Solis Mgna, how many planets are there in this system (SM, that is)?

2) What race does Sentrakh belong to? Well, we know he was created thanks to some DH experiments, but exactly how did that happen? Maybe TSO "combined" several DHs via mutations?

3) How did Devastator come to life? We know he came from the fiery crag on Karzahni, but how? Could Karzahni possibly create him?

4) Kind of a strange question. Is it possible to create Nuva versions of Ignika/Vahi/Mask of Creation?

5) Could Berix possibly be Velika's agent? He had access to the Great Beings' lab and could possibly communicate with him from there.

Also, you wrote:
>2) I have no idea what you are referring to.
2.1) I mean, did the GB create these pocket dimensions? If not, how did they appear? Moreover, for instance, the Kestora were present in "City of Silver".

Hello Greg,

I hate to harrass you about 2015 even though you already said a million times that you cant discuss future product lines but, can you atleast admit that BIONICLE is coming NOW? There is a picture found on the LEGO domain that shows a fancy looking mask with electrical stuff going around that says BIONICLE.

Did you know all along?
