Hi Greg. Will BIONICLE's story ever get continued? (sorry if this is already answeredJoking)

I have a few more questions, Greg.

1) What is the natural color of an Av-Matoran?

2) I'm thinking of using a Shadow Toa in my fanfiction, and I would be honored if you would chose the name!

3) Would a Toa of Iron be able to, theoretically, morph the metal of their own body?

That's all for now, thank you for doing this, it's like a dream come true! Happy

I have a question that's been bugging me for a while. Maybe you can answer this. Happy

How were Kanohi masks made? I know that they used Kanoka disks in Metru-Nui, but I read that they found the formula for making Kanoka in a tablet in the Knowledge towers. Was there a process before that or were Kanoka always in exsistence including Kanohi masks?

Say Greg, here's yet another important question I've got for you: Does Stars Tahu look different because he is still wearing Adaptive Armor? Please tell me it is like that, I mean, everything would make sense! Tahu got green eyes, just like Adaptive Armor does, he's gotten extra armor shells, like with Adaptive Armor, and he looks different than his original version, just like an Adaptive Armor-version would do! Some time ago, it was stated on the Bionicle wikia that Tahu Stars still wears Adaptive Armor, but it seemed to be speculation and was removed... Please make it canon!Smile

How much of the ninjago story did you have in mind before the episodes started to come out? Was everything planned?

Whether or not any line is great or not is a matter of opinion. I cannot give you an answer why you personally don't like it - only you can do that.

Greg, if BIONICLE had a TV show, would it be about the comics? You guys should do that! Like, make it return JUST for that. Is there anywhere I could read those comics online?

1) I doubt it. If BIONICLE came back and had a TV show, it would be about whatever the new sets and story were about, not the old sets and story.

2) Not that I know of

Greg,

Your a writer for LEGO, so what are some great tips on writing, I love to write and i hope to become a wrter for LEGO someday.

1) Read a lot, especially writers who are better than you are.

2) Write. A lot. You need to exercise the muscle if you want it to work.

Wow, the LEGO Message Boards. Haven't been here in a while. I do have a question, though.

First off, many thanks to Greg for sharing his time. I know he's busy, and it's nice to see that he's still willing to interact with the fanbase in spite of that.

Anyway, question:

Every Matoran possesses a miniscule amount of elemental energy which manifests itself in the form of various innate abilities (Ta-Matoran are resistant to heat, Ce-Matoran are mentally shielded, etc.). Several elements - Gravity, Jungle/Plantlife/The Green, Magnetism, and Plasma - do not have specified innate abilities. Can you give some insight as to what these abilities might be?

Thanks again for your time.

Not something I have given any thought to, since the line has ended. My focus has really been on the stuff I am working on now.

What inspired your idea of Bionicle?

OK... phew...Nervous

That's all! I'm off! *BOOP* [Joking]

No, I have nothing to do with the TV, and I didn't create BIONICLE - it was created before I came to work for LEGO.

Hello, Sir, I would Like to ask one Question and Say ONE thing,

Question: I Love the story in Bionicle, But Ninjago really did not have much of a Story, Any reason why?

What I have to say: I love Writing myself, And so it is Great to be able to have a Moment and a Question Awnsered by you.

I disagree. I think Ninjago has as much story as it needs. Not everything has to be deep and complex and require total immersion to understand, just as not every book needs to be War and Peace.

Well, I see your Point, But in Bio, Even the Sets... You look at the back and it already has a neat Story about the Bionicle in the Case, Sorta a Bio of a Bio, Ninjago never had the same... Epicness, Maybe I just thing you are better at writing about Epic Bio-Organic Robot things, Anyway, Happy Fourth of July Mister Farshtey.

It's a matter of opinion. But remember a couple things:

1) A BIONICLE set was normally one character - you had to have a bio to know if it was a good guy or a bad guy or whatever. Otherwise, it was just a pile of plastic. With Ninjago sets, it is pretty clear who is who and the conflict is already built into the sets.

2) BIONICLE was consciously aimed at 11+ year olds. Ninjago is not. Ninjago is more aimed at 8 and 9 year olds, and there is a big difference there in terms of complexity of story.

3) While I love the BIONICLE story, and you do too, a lot of people found they could not get into BIONICLE if they started late because there was too much story they had missed out on. That's not a problem you want to have, because it hurts set sales.

Greg, a followup: Which current LEGO theme (in terms of story) would you say is your favorite?

And a second question (if you are ad liberty to explain this now that BIONICLE has ended, If you have already answered this on one of the BZP Q&A's, just refer me to the topic): What ever became of Kopaka and Pohatu?

1) We really only have two themes with stories, Chima and Ninjago, and I don't really have a preference because they are so different from each other

2) No, I haven't discussed serial events because I frankly haven't given them any thought in a few years. Been too busy.
