Did any of the Toa Mangai have repeated masks? I thought it would be better to do a poll for all 4 Toa Mangai of Ice at once, to speed things up  a bit since they are all Toa of Ice with nothing more to their names (they don't even have names, heh). So did any Toa Mangai have the same mask as another?

Could the Toa Mangai of the Green be named Fau? The name comes from the Fau Swamp area in Le-Wahi. The Fau Swamp was a marshy area that extended throughout the jungles of Le-Wahi. It would make sense for the Turaga to name this area after the Toa Mangai of the Green.

Other name options that occured to me were KanaePala, and Kumu. However, there were some problems with this. For starters, all three of these are Maori words, with Kanae meaning 'fossil', Pala meaning 'ripe', and Kumu meaning... erm... I don't think that word is allowed here. 'Backside' maybe? Another reason being that Kanae seems to be more associated with water. Kanae Bay and Lake Kanae are two areas named after Kanae. Both are water related and thus seems unlikely for the Toa Mangai of the Green to be named after it. It would be more likely for some other Toa of Water to be Kanae. It is a similar situation with Pala, as Pala has a lake named in honour of it.  Kumu is a possibility. The Kumu Islets were small islets off the coast of the Kanae Bay. Only rahi mutated by the Visorak lived there. Matoran tried to colonialize the islets, but abandoned the project due to the mutants. I don't see the Turaga naming dangerous islets in honour of great Toa heroes.

Then there were other names that wouldn't make sense for a Toa of the Green. You once said that the Motara Desert and Tiro Canyon were named after Toa but were probably not from the Mangai. This leaves one location from Po-Wahi. Leva Bay. Could the Toa Mangai of Stone be called Leva?

For the other Toa Mangai I think it would be impossible to get their names through locations from Mata Nui, since the only special name location in Ko-Wahi is Ihu and that is a Matoran. Also there are no special named locations in Onu-Wahi.

What do you think? Thanks.

One person wanted the Mask of Silence to be on polls. His reasoning was that the mask was only immoral because Chirox wore it at Karda Nui. What is your stance on this?

Hello again Greg
I have some more questions

(Kanohi)

- Did the Mask of Creation look just like the Mask of Creation from the G2 Bionicle (2015 Bionicle)?

- Was there more Legendary Kanohi then the tree that we know of.

3) I have no  idea what the Gen1 mask looked like, so can't speak to this.

According to BS01 from Reign of Shadows:

"His mask was the most ornate anyone had ever seen – more than just a Kanohi, it was a true work of art. The metallic protodermis from which it was forged was arranged in intricate patterns and designs, each reflecting one of the many cultures that flourished in the universe. The eye slits were angular and pointed, giving him an air of both wisdom and a vague sense of menace."

Of course there is no actual image other than this description. I'm sure you've seen, and can see to compare it with an image of the 2015 mask. Would you say that the original Gen 1 mask would look like it?

Also that part with the kanohi morality. Why is it that Toa don't normally wear Shelek even though it's not immoral but because a makuta uses it? Miserix is a makuta, yet his mask isn't considered immoral. So why is that?

Greg, who is your favorite Toa?

Also, I recently got into BIONICLE and found the serials you wrote. Which one of them was first second, etc?

1) Kopaka

2) Sorry, I don't remember. In most cases, there were two or three running simultaneously.

1) Yeah, Kopaka is cool (pun not intended), but my favorite is Onua.

2) Okay. I'll see if I can figure out which one came first.

Onua is one of my faves too, and I'm especially liking this Nu-Onua. Lookswise, anyway, story hasn't come out yet after all. Joking

Hello Mr Greg

When there's an epidemic on Spherus Magna it's the Great Beings who find a cure against this epidemic?

In another alternate dimension the GB's have kept many of their creation secrets including a device able to travel in the others dimensions. it's also the case for the GB's of the original dimension?

Why the Makuta's specie have evolved?

The energy guns of the Kestora's of Red Star were the same as the guns of vorox of bota magna?

If a Glatorian finds all the pieces that transformed the seven warriors into lord of the elements. is he going to become a lord of the seven elements or he will die of this because it will be exposed to too many powers?

A Toa of iron can transform his skin into resistant steel simply by his will like Colosus in X-men?

                                                          Thank you very much Happy

1. Is Mata Nui a destined Ignika user?

2. Would the Tryna work on dead organic life forms like Glatorians?

1) Well, the way the Ignika works is you are afflicted if you touch it and are not supposed to. But since the Ignika created Mata Nui's body, there is no way there could have been a conflict with him touching it.

2) No.

1) I would say no. They didn't help any with the dreaming plague.

2) Unknown

3) Why does anything evolve?

4) Doubtful. That was certainly not my intent.

5) I think it is very doubtful one form could handle all that power.

6) Toa don't have skin.

I don't understand your question -- you ask why they don't normally wear it even though it's not immoral, but because a Makuta uses it? You just answered your own question. Because a Makuta uses it.

No. We have stated Toa do not wear Makuta masks.
