Dear Mr. Farshtey,

If the Red Star repairs all non-functioning beings who aren't rahi, doesn't that mean that even evil beings--such as Makuta--are sent there too?

Thank you!

1) Makuta are not, but Skakdi, for example, are. Remember, when the robot was built, there was no thought that some of the nanotech would be "good" and some would be "evil." It was just all seen as necessary.

Was there a book called:BIONICLE THE VISUAL DICTIONARY?  If so, did it come with the original design of the KHONOHI MASK OF LIFE mask?

If there was, I didn't write it or ever hear of it. It sounds like something DK would have published and I can't recall DK doing any BIONICLE books back then.

Ok.

What is the red star?

This is something that has been bugging me for a while: when Kopaka, Lewa and Pohatu went down into the Swamp of Secrets, why didn't their Adaptive Armour shift form?  Similarly, did Tahu, Gali and Onua's Adaptive Armour have a different form when they were in the skies of Karda Nui?

Also, did Kopaka or Lewa lead the Phantoka Nuva?  Kopaka was second-in-command, but Lewa was quite literally in his Element and was always shown most prominently in the promotions.

P.S. My previous question about Sonics is still pending.  I can understand if you need more time to ponder.

Hey, Greg. How did you get the idea for the fourth season of Ninjago?

Because the Red Star was supposed to bring back any Matoran that died, would that mean that there was no reason to have a machine to make more?

I was thinking Ekimu was the equivalet to Mata Nui in this universe since he was Makuta's brother. Thinking

Actually, in this new universe Ekimu and Makuta seem to be similar to Artakha and Karzahni.  Look at the storylines.  In the old canon, Artakha and Karzahni are two brothers.  Artakha is venerated by the Matoran and rules over a utopian kingdom, whereas Karzahni is hated and feared and governs a land of Matoran that he doesn't have the skill to fix properly.  In addition, the two fought over the Mask of Creation; Artakha won and now wears the Kanohi, Karzahni has the Olisi, the Mask of Alternate Futures, instead.  In the new canon, Makuta does not have the skill to match his brother's masks.  In addition, Ekimu wears the Mask of Creation, whereas Makuta wears the Mask of Control.

Greg Farshtey wrote the books, not the episodes.

Hey greg. Few questions.

1. Does the Makuta power of Accuracy become useless if the target can move and thus dodge?

2. How does Lava Control/Creation come into play in the MU?

3. Could Gravity manipulate an Explosion?

4. Could you describe BIONICLE physics?

This is something that I never really understood: Where did Vakama's visions come from? Well, I know that he had visions because his AI was glitched, so I should rather ask: Where did the information he saw in those visions come from? Was it all just in his mind, so did he just dream it up by himself, or was he actually "connected" somehow to Mata Nui's AI and/or other people's AIs and could receive messages/information from them?

Hi Greg, I think this got buried.

Hi Greg, I think this got buried.

It would make sense that it was Mata Nui. We know that Mata Nui, at least in his robot form, had psychic powers; that's how he was able to influence Makuta and able to wipe out everyone's memories during the time slip. And we know that he took direct involvement with the Toa Metru, such as changing the stars so that they would become Toa. This couild even apply to after the Great Cataclysm, because Mata Nui was said to be semi-aware during his coma.

Hello Greg!

Episode 9 of the BIONICLE episodes has been released, in Italian, and in the credits it says you were part of the original concept.

So you basically outlined the story for them or are you working with them now?

Hello!

Just one question: would a Toa of Sonics be able to use their control over the vibration of atoms to heat things up?

This has become buried.

And buried again.

And yet again!

Not buried, just pondering the answer.

Sound can indeed produce heat. But the amount of sound required to produce a noticeable increase in temperature is huge. A Toa of Sonics trying to produce substantial heat would have to use such a loud noise it would probably destroy the hearing of anyone around.
