Hi, Greg!

What was the main purpose of the Vortixx in Mata nui?

The Vortixx manufactured things that other areas of the MU needed.

Was there a book called:BIONICLE THE VISUAL DICTIONARY?  If so, did it come with the original design of the KHONOHI MASK OF LIFE mask?

If there was, I didn't write it or ever hear of it. It sounds like something DK would have published and I can't recall DK doing any BIONICLE books back then.

Ok.

What is the red star?

The red star is a satellite that orbits whatever planet Mata Nui is on. Its purpose is to retrieve nanotech that ceases to function, download its AI into a new body, and send it back into the robot.

That was unexpected for MESurprised!  Was there any story of how MATORO came back to life?

Matoro never came back to life. For the RS to work, the head at least has to be intact so that the AI can be downloaded. Nothing of Matoro's body survived his death, it was all turned into energy.

Man, I wish he was still aliveSad.  Who's the shadowed one?

Leader of the Dark Hunters.

Hey Greg

1. Does the Tryna use any of the user's life force?

2. Did Velika have enough mental focus he could use his mask?

3. If a kraawa fought a kardas dragon, who would win?

4. Could someone with access to Iden disks and mental powers theoretically force two others to swap bodies? That sounds creepier when you write it out...

5. How was destiny with energized protodermis determined? Could the Great Beings program certain nanotech to have certain destinies, or was it more random?

6. Was the second robot for fixing Spherus Magna stronger, weaker, or equal to the MU?

Hey, this is awesome! I was always wondering, what inspires you when you design all these different characters in the Bionicle and Hero Factory universes?

hi greg just a few questions:

1)if the toa mahri dream is to have Matoro back with them could the fusion golden being that is with the Skakdi make the toa mahri dreams true?

2)if the hydraxon from red star finds the dekar-hydraxon the last one would return to his original state?

3)which character do you think besides makuta teridax would be enough strong to defeat the shadowed one?

4)is brutaka controlling his own body or the antidermis?

5)is the kanohi ignika able to undo the curses from the great being that went insane and divide into his original state the dark hunter prototype?

thanks and i hope you answer my questions

this was buried please answer

The Great Beings are scientists, so in general they do not have super-powers as such. Most of their powers are based on things they have invented. The exception is the one GB we encountered who did seem to have super-normal powers, but those may have been part of a curse visited on him for touching the Ignika. So far as we know, the GBs do not have any natural powers.

I am getting hung up on the word "design" -- when we use that word at LEGO Company, we are usually referring to the model builders, which isn't what I am. So can you be more specific about what you are asking?

He's asking how you create a character's name, personality, traits, etc.

One question that is bugging me...

So recently I was fooling around with a tridax pod from 2008... And for some reason or other I had two shadow leeches begin to bite each other at the same time, that got me thinking...

What would happen if shadow leeches ever started kissing draing each other of light? Would they smash each other? Would the malnourishment cause them both to faint? Would they continue to plummet down to the ground looking for food? What?

Hi Mr Greg

When a Makuta absorbs a being such as a Toa is what the Makuta gets his powers and his memories?

The people of MU do they need to be recharged like robots? or they not need to be charged because they have an unlimited energy source in them?

How the Great Beings have given the powers to the inhabitants of MU? For example, is what it is because of the technology whose some of the inhabitants of MU were made which give them some powers? As some beings were created from the technology of teleportation others were made of technology to control fire and so on.

thanks Happy

Can you answer my question please.

Hi again, Greg!

Since we checked that only two Kanohi Olmak are available in the Matoran Universe (this is the mask I believe that you were thinking of), can we now confirm that the last Toa Mangai of Ice wore the Kanohi Rode, as established via the BZPower poll?

Thanks for your support!

Would it be possible for someone with the right skills, resources and know-how to give Makuta different Rahkshi powers than what would normally be possible, eg. Fire, speed, vulture etc.

Expanding on this, are Makuta relegated to only having 42 Rahkshi powers at a time, and thus if it were possible to give them different abilities, would you first have to remove one of their pre-existing ones?

Also, if they were to be given different abilities, would this have to be done before they were pulled from the Makuta pool, or could it be done afterwards.

Thanks for taking the time to look this over.

P.S. In an earlier question I asked whether the GSR`s could only be controlled be those tied to antidermis, I also was wondering whether Mata Uni was tied to antidermis, which I should have clarified, and therefore apologise for. However, you still did answer that question anyways, so cheers. Also does that mean Teridax`s AI was added to the Makuta Pool after his creation, and is this likewise the case for the alternate universe Mata Uni plotting to take down Teridax.

Thanks for your time

Can you give us any other ideas you have for sets?

You once said that you'd guess that their be less than 20 Great Beings left in Bionicle G1, did you mean their species or just the number of Great Beings that are watching over the other inhabitants of Spherus Magna?
