Sorry, I don't know what you are asking. It seems like you are maybe referring to some question you had asked before, but I don't remember it. Can you clarify?

Sorry, I forgot to use the Quote button, and now I cannot find the exact question and anaswer that you gave it. But the basic gist was that someone asked you why Gresh was given the elemental power of air when he is part of the Jungle Tribe, and your answer was that the Jungle element does not exist in the Matoran Universe, but in fact it does. But it is just called "the Green" and the Matoran of the element are called Bo-Matoran. So was this just not thought up at the time, or did you forget?

I once asked you here if the inhabitatns of the MU (Toa, Matoran etc.) have human-like hands or something different, and the answer you gave me was something like "They call them hands bu they are different". Or something to that effect. Can you elaborate on this? How would they be different? Maybe they are magnetic? Or do you mean that they don't have actual fingers? I hope you understand my question.

Simple. The MU characters do  not have hands with fingers (see the movies) and from the shot of Takua grabbing his kolhii staff in Mask of Light, it appears they grab things via magnetism.

But in the movies they had fingers. Also several times in the books fingers are described.

Sorry, you're right. But the sets don't have fingers, neither did the characters in the comics or in the CGI animations based off the sets. As for the books they had to be set in the movie universe because the book series incldued in the movie novelizations. That is why the books also reflected the masks showing emotion, when they didn't do so anywhere else. We did,  however, see Takua grasp his kolhii staff without initially touching it in a film -- it simply flies into his hand -- which speaks to how it was being done in all other media.

But what about the later sets, like the BIONICLE Stars? They used those hand pieces from the CCBS system (or Hero Factory system). And Onua had fingers with claws. So did Brutaka. And Axonn had huge hands with fingers as well. Are these the exception...?

I guess it was just forgotten by almost everyone but you and us story geeks at BZP Smile

3: Why did Zaktann float into the pool to create the Golden skinned being? He wasn't thrown in like the others.

I can answer the first one. In the Red Star Guide thread on the BZPower forums it says:

"What is the nature of the lightning that struck 6 Matoran?

There was never supposed to be Matoran outside the robot. The Toa Mata failed to wake Mata Nui on time, and thus there were still Matoran outside on the islands of Mata Nui and Voya Nui. The lightning acts like a fail-safe to create new Toa outside the robot in case they are ever needed."
So basically it was another failsafe created by the Great Beings, and if it had been any other Matoran, it would have done the same to them.

I was wondering about this too. They had that weird two-finger thing that look like claws, or some kind of weird shooter with two barrels.

I didn't forget, no. But the only people who knew about "the Green" were people who read the books. There were no Toa of the Green sets, so LEGO and the movie studio were not worrying about this. To the vast majority of BIONICLE fans, green meant air, so that was what they went with.

Good question. I tend to think no, since teleportation type powers in comics traditionally require actual physical sight. Video can be altered, so you could easily teleport into a concrete block that was edited out of the footage.

1) Because that is what the sets designers gave them. I have nothing to do with set design.

2) Yes. Seliel is the Phantom Ninja in the second to last Ninjago graphic novel. And she is real, because the book was approved by LEGO Company before being published.

I think you once said that the socket hands had been retconned when MoL came out. You definitely said that their appearance in the movie was canon, to my recollection, with their muscle tissue, and more filled out and less gappy look. Can't remember if you said anything about the hands, but I seem to remember you saying that the hand design in the movie was canon too, and they did had fingers. Sorry if this conversation seems pointless or something... :/ I don't want to waste any time, it is just very interesting to me. Maybe the hands have fingers, but they are also magnetic? And it's electro-magnetism, which could explain how they are able to hold things that are not made of metal. Or are all Protodermis really a kind of metal? Also, on Bara Magna, Bota Magna and Spherus Magna the world was not made out of protodermis, so how can they still pick things up there? Maybe this is where the electro-magnetic thing comes into play. Or they built fingers. Who knows?

Hello greg, how it going.

I just wanted to ask is, what is the name of the Mask of Creation?

Because we know that the Mask of Time is called Vahi and the Mask of Life is called Ignika, but we do not know the name of Mask of Creation.

1. How come some of the skull spiders have stingers and others don't?
2. Do all of the Dark Hunters (except for Nidiki and Krekka) have codenames?
3. How come the Element lord of Sand didn't encounter the Agori in "Riddle of the Great Beings"?
4. Did you write the Mata Nui Saga?
5. Who is your least favorite character in Bionicle?
6. Do the Vorox and zesk have four eyes, or is it just their helmets?

1) I can't discuss BIONCLE 2015.

2) All the ones we know about

3) Because that did not happen in story

4) No

5) I don't know that I have a least favorite

6) I haven't looked at those sets in six years, so I really don't recall.

In old BIONICLE, it was never given a name. I don't know what they will do in new BIONICLE, but my guess would be they will just call it Mask of Creation.
