Could the Mistika Makuta create rahi?

Also, do you have a favorite mask in Bionicle? If so, which one?

Is Greg working on the new Bionicle 2015 story? I sure hope so. The story was my favorite part of the old Bionicle series.

I have a few questions about Velika and Atakus (one of Velika's agents on Bara Magna).

1. How and when did Atakus come to work for Velika?

2. What's the full story with Atakus' blades? Did Atakus find them, or did someone else find them and later give them to Atakus? Were they found in a baterra weapons cache (as the Skrall believed), or a Great Being cache, or something else? Did Velika plant them there, did he know about them, or did he only hear about them when Atakus reported them?

3. Does Velika have any special plans for the Skrall? Does he see them as potential allies or enemies?

4. The baterra were never shut off by their failsafe, but after the Shattering, a period of 100,000 years passed in which they did not appear to do anything. Is Velika perhaps the reason that they suddenly wiped out the Skrall's northern empire in the past year?

No, I'm not. I am not involved at all with new BIONICLE.

1) I can't discuss BIONCLE 2015.

2) All the ones we know about

3) Because that did not happen in story

4) No

5) I don't know that I have a least favorite

6) I haven't looked at those sets in six years, so I really don't recall.

2. Actually, you are wrong. Lariska, Amphibax, Firedracax, Phantom, Sentrakh, Triglax, Nidhiki, Krekka, Vezok, Hakann, Avak, Zaktan, Thok, Reidak and Voporak didn't have codenames.

That you know about. We referred to them by name in the story, that does not mean the organization never assigned them code names.

I beg your pardon?

Just because we referred to them in story by their given names does not mean they did not have codenames too within the organization. We simply never used them in story.

Hey Greg,
Ok, so this may seem like a weird question, but I had a debate with a friends that seems to have no real answer that we can find out easily. Also, fi you don't feel comfortable sharing this information that is totally cool.
I was wondering if you go/get royalities from the Bionicle Books that were sold, or if you sold the book to Scholastic and did/do not recieve royalties.

Thanks!

-P1

Hi P1,

No, I did not. The books were strictly "work for hire" -- I was paid a flat fee. Royalties are great, but most publishers I have dealt with don't offer them at all. (I have friends who have written books for big publishers, that sold a LOT more copies than anything I did, and they didn't get royalties either.)

Hi Greg I Have another question, Are you continuing the Hero Factory book series with schoolastic? and Are you making a book series for Bionicle 2015? please reply.

The Hero Factory book series was cancelled by Scholastic some time ago. And no, I am not writing the new BIONICLE books.

Some questions about the Jutlin (Antroz's Kanohi), the Avsa (Vamprah's Kanohi), the Kiril (Dume's Kanohi) & Kanohi & Kanoka in general:

1a. Which version of the Jutlin is closest to the original look of the mask: Noble, Antroz's Phantoka version, or Jetrax Version?

1b. Same with the Avsa.

1c. BioSector01 states that the Jutlin has teeth because Antroz wants it to, I'm guessing this is also the same with the Avsa, because of Vamprah's preference. Well, how come the noble version worn by Gavla also has teeth?

2a. The Kiril has the ability to regenerate inorganic matter, can it regrow the mechanical components of a limb if it is cut off, and how effective is this arm if so?

2b. The Jutlin has the ability to break down inorganic matter, can it break down the mechanical parts of Biomechanical being like the Toa?

3a. Are powerless masks worn by Matoran made from Kanoka usually required for a mask if it is to have power? As in to make a powerless Hau (Mask Of Shielding) do you require the Kanoka of Enlarge and Regeneration in order to make that mask?

3b. Is there such a thing as a blank Kanoka?

3c. If the answer to part a is no, then does the shape of a Matoran's mask dictate the power the mask will have?

Thanks again for answering my questions.

This is a really trivial point, but I was interested in the fate of the Matoran in "The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet," namely which ones were revived and which weren't. To refresh your memory: The first Matoran was defeated by having a vat of molten protodermis spilled over him, the second one fell from so high up his mask shattered when he hit the ground, and the last one was drowned.

I have sevral questions:
1- Can the Makuta posess a body of a being that has reciently died?
1.1- If so, can they posess it permanently, or would it be teleported to the red star?
1.2- Either way, could they use their Shadow powers and their Kraata powers in that lifless body?
2- Can the Mask of Mind Control posess a Makuta, since they are beings of pure energy?
3- Can the same Mask control a Glatorian, or it doesn't work with organic beings?
4- If a being from the Matoran Universe is blinded (like the Makuta Phantoka), can their eyes be repaired?

3. the biomechanical animals of Spherus Magna like the Skopio would they be affected by an EMP?

4. Is what the animals of Spherus Magna eat by absorbing the energy like the Matoran or they eat like all organic  beings?

Greg, I think I asked this before and it got buried.

You said something about matoran requiring latent toa energies to become toa via a toa stone. How do toa know who to give toa stones to?

Also, can toa make an indefinite amount of toa stones without any permanent side effects?

One more question: If a Makuta can't survive if his essence is leaked out from a scratch of his armor, how could Teridax's essence survive after his armor was compleatly crushed by the gate of the Mangaia?
