I actually read a very interesting concept on a tumblr page owned by a nicrophorus-americanus. He has this cool series on there called "Fleshing out the Matoran Universe." On the first blog post in this series he wrote:
* Seasons did exist in the Matoran universe, and were the effects of Mata Nui’s self-regulation of temperature. Much energy was produced in his hands, feet, and internal engines, which he then circulated through the rest of the universe on a regular cycle. The lands of the Su-Matoran and the Southern Islands, however, were almost always swelteringly hot.

I don't know if you're still canonizing stuff, but I really liked the idea and wanted to hear if you did too, and if you'd be interested in making it canon?

Thanks for your time Greg.

I just remembered something about a 36 hour day having been canonized, based on the Great Sundial. Is this correct?

Can Mistika Makuta create rahi?

Yes. I believe Mutran and Chirox were two major Rahi creators.

Yes, all the Makuta could create Rahi.

This question is probebly just a trivial manner... And I know there could be many good reasons, but I was curious as to which one.

1)  Why is the reason that you less-then-like characters who use Treespeak/Chutespeak?

And second, also a trivial manner...

2)  I belive you said once that Malum was one of your favorite 2009 characters. Did you own the set even though it may not have looked like you envisioned? Thinking

1. Does the Shadowed One have three or two legs on the story? His set has three legs.
2. On Wikipedia, it says that Click was not originally meant to transform from a shield and back at will. How come it was implemented in the movie?
3. Did you write the script for the Legend Reborn?
3b) how about the other three movies?
4. Does Hydraxon wear a helmet, or is that his face?
5. Several websites mention a cancelled sequel to The Legend Reborn, as well as a sequel after that. It states the the second movie would be about the valley of the maze and in the end, Mata Nui and his friends would be trapped on Bota Magna. Can we assume that the third movie was going to be about Mata Nui and his friends returning to Bara Magna, and then the final showdown with Makuta Teridax would occur?
6. In the Ninjago Tournament app, there is an Anacondrai named "Silvereye". Is he Eyezor? They both have the same Mohawk, the same leather jacket, the same necklace, black gloves, and a silver right eye.
7. Is Ronin good or evil? The description for Shadow of Ronin states that he is a villain, but on the box art of "Ronin R.E.X", he is helping Kai.

1) Because it took a lot of time to figure out how something would be said in treespeak, which slowed me down when I was writing. It got to the point where I would write their dialogue "normal" and then go back when the book was done, to add the treespeak in.

2) No. Most of the BIONICLE sets I had were from 2001. I didn't have a lot of room in my house for LEGO sets as years went on, so I really wasn't buying except as gifts for people.

1) I don't recall us ever referring to him anywhere as having three legs

2) No  idea where that info came from. Every version of the script had him turning into a shield. It is possible the animators may have considered a different approach at some point, but I had no involvement at that stage.

3) No. I wrote the story, not the script.

3b) No

4) I always thought it was a helmet

5) You really can't assume anything. No stories for the other two movies were ever approved by the story team. What exists is random ideas I had for where we might have gone with the movies, but I have no  idea what the other two movies might have wound up being.

6) I don't have the app, so I can't speak to this

7) He's meant to be a "gray" character. He helps the ninja when it is in his interests to do so.

1. What about the question of there being seasons then? Do you think the MU have seasons? And do you think that SM has seasons too?

2. Also, what do you think of nicrophorus-americanus' concept of MU seasons? It's pretty neat, right?

1. Is the third leg-looking part a tail then? In some official images it looks very much like a leg, but I'd be able to look at it as a tail.

But you did write a short treatment (5 pages long I think?) for a sequel, as I recall. You even shared it online, correct? it involved the heroes going to Bota Magna and finding biomechanical dinosaur-like creatures on there. Am I remembering wrong? If I'm not, that would have been awesome to see.
