Hi Mr. Farshtey! Just wanted to ask if you know when Netfilx is supposed to be streaming new seasons of Ninjago?

Wow in your reply to UnidroidPie you said you imagined the ninja around 13-15 I always imagined them 17-21 more around that age group

Hey Greg, big fan of your work and how you bring LEGO themes to life!Happy

1) Have you been following the new Bionicle story? If so, what are your thoughts on it, and even though it's a reboot, could you think of a way it could be linked to the original story?

2) What happened to Pohatu and Kopaka after Mavrah found them on the Red Star?

3) Exo-Force's design seems to based on manga and anime. I see traces of Gundam in there, but are there any other series you took inspiration from?

Dear Greg,

What was your favorite location in the Bionicle Universe?

4. Did you write the Mata Nui Saga?
5. Who is your least favorite character in Bionicle?
6. Do the Vorox and zesk have four eyes, or is it just their helmets?

1) I can't discuss BIONCLE 2015.

2) All the ones we know about

3) Because that did not happen in story

4) No

5) I don't know that I have a least favorite

6) I haven't looked at those sets in six years, so I really don't recall.

2. Actually, you are wrong. Lariska, Amphibax, Firedracax, Phantom, Sentrakh, Triglax, Nidhiki, Krekka, Vezok, Hakann, Avak, Zaktan, Thok, Reidak and Voporak didn't have codenames.

That you know about. We referred to them by name in the story, that does not mean the organization never assigned them code names.

That reminds me of a question I had. In some of the promotional material, the Piraka also had nicknames: Zaktan was The Snake, Vezok was The Beast, Avak was The Trigger, etc. Is it possible that these were their Dark Hunter codenames?

Hope not. I never liked those names.

3.- How were the great beings capable to biud TWO giant robots? Did they have psychic powers or something?

3) No, they don't have psychic powers. They  built Matoran and the Matoran built the robots.

But the prototype robot was built 150,000 years ago. Did they already have Matoran 50,000 years before they created the Matoran Universe?

Probably one of the alt. universes. It was fun to write without all the rules of the main universe.

1) Only to the extent that I have edited the magazine pages related to it. And it wouldn't be my place to suggest a linkage that I do not think the G2 team wants.

2) Story is basically frozen where we left it.

3) I did not design Exo-Force. I don't do set design.

I tend to doubt that. If they were 18-21, they would basically be young adults, and their attitudes and behavior don't really seem to match that.

1. I was reading something on Biosector01 and one of the references was "Farshtey feed". I clicked on it, and it led me to BZPower and it had a few notes about some characters from Bionicle. Did you write this and is this canon?

1) I have never checked that out, so I don't know what it is.

The Farshtey Feed was an unofficial summary of Greg's answers to fan questions, I think. So the content should be mostly canon, though there may be cases where an ambiguous answer may have been recited wrong.

Hey, Greg, it just occured to me that Bionicle has a lot of potential for post-apocolyptic alternate universes. You yourself have created two, The Kingdom and the Toa Empire universe, but there's also a bunch of questions that could allow a fan to create such unfortunate universes, like "What if the League of Six Kingdoms succeded?", "What if the Kestora managed to reach the Matoran Universe?", "What if Teridax managed to turn all the Toa into Hordika while he was in control of the universe?", and so on and so forth. So, I have to ask...is this intentional? Disappointed

Yeah, that's my major question out of the way, here's a bunch of shorter ones:

  • If any combined six elements used by Toa can create a Toa Seal, what if all of the Toa used a Nova Blast's worth of energy to create a Toa Seal? What would happen? Would the Toa Seal just be thicker?
  • What would happen if a Toa Kaita did a Nuva Blast? Are they even able to?
  • It's been shown with the Aki and Rua that Mask powers can be combined into a single, at least with a Toa Kaita. With this in mind, is it possible to use two powers at once to have a better result (Like, say, a Toa Kaita using the powers of a Mask of Sensory Aptitude and a Hau in order to create a shield that wouldn't break due to an ambush)?
  • How much pain would a Makuta feel if he/she got slammed into a wall by a giant pillar of Protosteel that kept on pushing?

1) No, not really. I don't think the original creators of BIONICLE were planning for that. I just did it because I like alt. universe stories.

2) It would be a lot larger.

3) Unknown.

4) Not to my knowledge

5) Well, Makuta are basically energy, so I am not sure how their ability to feel pain equates to an organic being.

In theory, a Nova Blast is simply a Toa releasing all of their Elemental Energy in a massive pulse/explosion, right? However, the only successful example of one we've seen in the series involved the toa (Gali) drawing in outside water to contribute to the explosion. Haller's unsuccessful one, however, simply seemed to be him prepping his entire elemental energy reserve. Is outside absorption of the Toa's element a necessary part of the Nova blast, or was it just an extra step that Gali took to increase its power?

I believe the latter would be correct.
