Hey Greg, some questions about Kanohi.

1) Can the user of a Mask of Incomprehension perceive spoken and written language normally while it is in use?

2) Does the Mask of Incomprehension use mental illusions?

3) Are Toa of Psionics and other mentally-shielded beings immune to the Mask of Incomprehension?

4) Given that they use aspects of elemental Psionics, would the following Kanohi still boost a Toa of Psionics' powers:

i) Komau?

ii) Mahiki?

iii) Matatu?

iv) Suletu?

5a) You've stated that there are Kanohi for every MU element, does this include the following:

i) The elemental sub-powers heat and vacuum?

ii) Acid?

iii) Anger?

iv) Disintegration?

5b) Would any of the above Kanohi be considered immoral by Toa?

1-3) I am not aware of there being a Mask of Incomprehension

4) No. A Toa of Psionics most likely would not bother to use masks whose powers duplicate ones already possessed, because mask powers are not stackable. If you are using the mask power, you are using the mask power, not your own power plus the mask power. The only reason you would use a mask would be if you wanted to use two powers at once, and so it would make sense to use a mask power in place of a natural one plus one of your natural ones.

5a) I was referring to Toa elements

The mask of incomprehension, according to bs01, is a fan-submitted mask that you adapted and approved. It scrambles spoken and written word for 10 minutes, and can be countered with a Rau.

Would the MU inhabitants and the other Spherus Magna residents call the GBs race Great Beings like the scientists?

Hello Mr Greg

1.The people of Spherus Magna know that the Great Beings are people like them? Because in the story, they seemed to take the GB almost as gods.

2.You said that the Great Beings have no natural power, but they have objects that give powers to them. These objects give omnipotent powers or something similar? If no, what kind of powers that these objects give to the GB?

Hi Greg!

I was a big fan of the old Bionicle comics included in the LEGO magazing, but sadly, I only have a few issues of the series. Were these comics ever uploaded online, perchance? I'd love to read the entire story.

Thanks for your time.

Hey there,

I know I'm not Greg, and I'm sure he could have his own answer to this, but if you search "Biomedia Project" on Google, you should find a site that has all the comics uploaded for you to read.  I believe it was created by a group of fans, and it is very helpful!  Once you get there, go to "Pictures," and you'll find the icon that says "Comics."  It has them all!

Good luck!

Thanks very much!! ^-^

5. So, a Mask of Earth, Mask of Sonics etc, exist? Also, would it be possible to forge say a Kanohi of Acid or some MU element, not wielded by a Toa naturally? If so, would they be immoral?

Hi Greg!

I am not sure if you can anwser these but...

1) Is Cole's father the Elemental Master of Earth?
2) Is Ed or Edna (Jay's parents) the Elemental Master of Lightning?

3) How come Jay can control wind (The episode "The Green Ninja") if Morro is the Master of Wind, Maybe Morro was banished earlier then the serpentine war and Edna/Ed is his daughter/son? That would explain Chen not needing it (Cause Jay had it too).

4) Why wasn't Lar featured in the TV show when the elemental master of water was in the flashbacks?

And then, about Rahi:

5) How do Rahi eat? Like Matoran? Muaka were carnivores, how did they eat?

6) Rahi couldn't reproduce and Miserix/Melding Teridax doesn't know how to make all of them, so, are they a limited amout now?

7) What will happen when the Rahi and Spherus Magna creatures clash?

Thanks!

Okay, well, that was probably ages ago, because I don't remember it. If it's fan-created, then the fan is the one who needs to come up with the rules of how it works. It's their concept.

1) The GBs are scientist-kings, so they are revered, at least in some places.

2) No, they are not omnipotent. If they were, there wouldn't have been so many glitches with Mata Nui. They use tech to achieve what they need to achieve, so what they are using and what it does depends on what they need to achieve.

It is theoretically possible for there to be a mask of every Toa element, because there would be Toa discs for every element. As far as Kanohi of Acid, the reason we never made it a Toa element was that LEGO would never have approved it, so I would probably stay away from doing it as a Kanohi officially too.

1) Don't know

2) I would guess no.

3) Don't know. I don't write the TV episodes,l so I don't have the background on why they do what they do in them

4) Again, not involved in the TV show, so no way for me to know

5) No, Rahi not being that bright for the most part will bite and chew even though they don't have to. And being a carnivore simply means they can derive energy from  meat, the same way Matoran derive it from fish, for example.

6) There is also the issue that they do not have access to the machinery used to make Rahi on SM at this point.

7) Sometimes Rahi will win, and sometimes they won't.
