How long are you gonna be here? You must be tired of answering questions! Joking

While you're here, do you get frustrated when people focus more on romantic elements of ninjago than anything else, and ignore alot of the main story?

Hey Greg can you tell me what the LEGO bionicle movie 5 storyline plot was gonna be?

There was no official plot. We had just begun to talk a litlte bit about it when we got the news that G1 was cancelled.

1) Back when I was on a fan site, I used to answer 500 questions a day sometimes, so this is not too bad. Smile

2) It's not something I have personally run into much, but I do know people who get frustrated that female characters in stories always have to be in a romance and male characters do not.

Hey again, dear Greg!

In the Farshtey Feed it has been stated that both Mazeka and Vultraz rebuilt themselves into larger forms, explaining why they are larger in set form. Is it safe to assume Vican has also been rebuilt?

Also, how did the Farshtey Feed work, who wrote it? Who asked questions?

Thanks! Smile

Unknown. Since Vican chose to remain mutated, he may not have been able to rebuild himself.

If I recall correctly, that was a compilation of questions and answers from when I was on BZPower back in the day.

So, did the mutation make Vican larger? Or is his larger size simply non-canon?

Also, when an Agori is about 400 000 years, it would be the equivalent to 100 years for a human. But, for hundreds of years ago, humans did rarely get past the age of 30, and the Agori are not really that highly advanced in terms of medical science as far as we know, so it is correct to assume that it is extremely rare that Agori/Glatorian reach that age? About how long of an avarage life span would they have?

Are Av-Matorans extra powers when in contact with Makuta/Toa the same weather they are Shadow Matoran or not? It would make sense that, say for example, if Solek was a Shadow Matoran, he could make things out of solid shadow rather than solid light, and Tanma would be a living battery of shadow.

Do Toa of Light have access to their extra powers as mentioned above, assuming they know what those powers were?

Hey Greg, recently I've been thinking of how Matoran can essentially be built and dissassembled quite easily, particularly by themselves. And I have to ask:

Is the process of rebuilding a Matoran while it's still alive painful?

How exactly does a Matoran go about rebuilding himself into a larger form?

How come the Matoran of Voya Nui did not think of rebuilding themselves?

Do Matoran usually remember having been rebuilt?

What is being rebuilt by Karzahni like as opposed to a Matoran doing it him/herself?

How do you feel about unfairly being blamed for everything wrong with old bionicle?

I'm not aware that I was being so blamed Smile But ... I am sure some of it is justified, cause nobody is perfect. At the same time, some of it is overblown. I have seen people act like they HAD to read all the books or HAD to read the serials to "keep up with the story," which isn't true. The comics and the movies covered main story. You only had to read the extra stuff to be able to chat about it on fan sites.

And, of course, some of it comes from people misunderstanding my role. I wrote the bulk of the fiction for BIONICLE -- so if they have problems with execution, that's on me -- but as far as main story goes, I was part of a team and we all worked on it. It wasn't springing from my head. And, then, there are people who complain about things -- like the move from Mata Nui to Metru Nui -- which were always part of the plan for the line and were planned before I came to work here.

Some people want someone to be angry at. I can't do anything about that. That's life. I was no happier about G1 ending than they were, but I couldn't do anything more about it than they could. And I understand their dismay about the serials not ending -- and I agree with it -- but there were reasons that happened. If I had it to do over again, I probably would have just said no when asked to write them in the first place.

I for one have nothing but positive feelings for your writing if it makes you feel any better Joking

Why do the employees have to write fanfiction? Couldn't we do that ourselves?

Ahem, there was an entire team that worked on the story of Bionicle, of which Greg was not a part of until later into the project. we owe the greatness of G1 to many people besides just Greg.

Does the Ninjago series of graphic novels go along with the movie or show.as in predicting the future of them? Even though Bionicle is over , will you still write. Would you ever have a contest choosing from bionicle character builds to write a story on?

1) Not in terms of predicting the future, no. I doubt they would allow giving away plot poitns for the TV series in the books. But there is a lot of emphasis on not contradicting the official story in the books now.

2) I wasn't doing any writing for the current version of BIONICLE -- Ryder Windham was doing those books. So the fact that it is ending has nothing to do with my writing career.

3) We actually did things like that back in the original BIONICLE, for both Rahi and Dark Hunters. At this point, I can't see it happening since the line is ending and they won't be looking to do more official fiction for it.
