Hi Drake,

Since I had nothing to do with G2, it is hard for me to comment on these theories. During the very, very brief period I was looking stuff over, before the line launched, the information I had was that there wasn't going to be a concrete link between the two. It's possible that might have changed had the line lasted longer, but really, linking to G1 wasn't a priority since the target audience wasn't around for G1.

4) I had already his question, but since you were confused a little by it, I decided to rephrase it. Recently the Earth Tribe page was removed from BS01, because according to some of the members it went against canon. The only thing that would cotnradict its existance I found was Journey's End prologue, set during the building of the GSR, in wich Angonce reflects on what has gone wrong and caused the Core War. He keeps talking about six tribes and six ELs, never mentioning the Earth Tribe, not even when listing the elements of the ELs. I know that the Earth Tribe wasn't a thing at the time, since you revealed its existance on these message boards, way after Bionicle's end, but is there an in-story reason Angonce didn't mention the Earth Tribe, or should we just ignore that and still consider the tribe canon?

There is a reason. There is a very dark story associated with the Earth tribe (which I will reveal soon), which is the reason they never get mentioned anymore.

Ok, now this is getting interesting... Anyways.

1. Are some Skakdi more insane than others?

2. Is it likely that at least a hand full of the "less insane" ones would be able to get into the new society?

3. What is the current status of the living mountain?

4. Was the Metru Nui Tahtorak larger than normal Tahtorak?

5. Why did the Piraka not destroy the Toa Nuva's weapons?

6. Did Jaller Inika carry one or two swords in the official canon?

7. Do you know what kind of weapon Kongu Mahri carried before discarding it infavor of 2 Cordak launchers?

8. Can the Zatth summon SM creatures?

Hi Mr Greg!

1. The destiny of all beings of the MU is part of their programmation?

2. When she is fully fed on dreams, Annona is as dangerous and powerful than the Great Spirit Robot (Teridax) may be worse? If so, when Annona has devoured the dreams of all of Skakdi on the fortress, She was as dangerous as the GSR?

3. The Sister of Skrall that his psychic powers were amplified by Angonce is she real? Or she was invented by the Sister of Skrall? If she exists, She is basically the living embodiments of the psychic like the Elements Lord? (I know psychic is not considered as an element on Spherus Magna but she can be their equivalent)

1) Well, it's a good question. When we have talked about "achieving destiny" it has usually had to do with one thing you end up doing -- for example, awakening Mata Nui -- once you have done that, your destiny has been achieved and other things you are doing are not pre-destined.

2) I don't know if you can compare the two. Annona has vast psionic powers, but Mata Nui is way stronger physically.

3) I don't understand your question

2. You are right, Mata Nui is physically stronger than Annona but she could be his "psychic" equivalent. Example, Mata Nui      can destroy a planet but Annona can destroy the minds of an entire civilizations of a planet with her psychic powers.

3. I talk about of the Sister of Skrall who met one of the Great Beings and Angonce would have improved her powers according to their legend.

2) True. But we do not know if Annona's power would work on bio-mechanical or mechanical beings, only that it works on organic brains.

3) Yes, she is real

2, In the Shaman's Tale story, She has devoured the dreams of the Skakdi of the fortress.

Hello Mr Greg

1. If Velika manage to instaure his policy, It will be him who will reign on Spherus Magna? Or Velika will use someone to rule the planet in its place but Velika will manipulate him in the shadow like a puppet?

2. What kind of policy Velika wants to instaure on Spherus Magna?

3. The Staff of Artakha can be used outside of the Matoran Universe? If so, Its power has the same range?

4. Artakha has already used the Staff of Artakha at least one time?

5. The Staff of Artakha was created before or after the Great Cataclysm?

6. The destinies of the beings of the MU to be transformed or destroyed by the Energized Protodermis was programmed by the Great Beings?

It's awesome that you still care to do this!

Would there be any Ninjago characters you've created that you'd like to see in sets?

True.

But I thought that G2 was sort of aimed at the kids who liked the G1 stories and the kids who enjoyed the HeroFactory sets.

Besides, I just wanted your imput. Considering you are like the Holocron-Keeper of Bionicle.

I haven't written it yet, but is it possible that the Visorak somehow evolved into the Skull Spiders?

I also think there's a link in NinjaGo. Remember the Underworld?

Oh, wait. I guess you haven't written NinjaGo. Although you did do those comics...

Those rocked!

Hello Mr Farshtey.

A while ago, you were asked about the Toa Hagah masks as Matoran. Initially, you answered that they wore the same masks as Matoran. Then, somebody pointed out that the Toa Hagah changed masks upon their nomination as Toa Hagah, so you answered you forgot those details, and went back on your answer about the masks the Toa Hagah wore as Matoran.

This second question only gave you partial context. The new masks the Toa Hagah got upon their nomination are known to be special because they are metallic (in color), made in precious materials, and shaped to honor past heroes - for example, Norik's Pehkui is under the form of a Noble Kiril instead of its normal shape.

So my question is, in light of the full context, did the Toa Hagah wore the same masks before their nomination as Toa Hagah and as Matoran? (eg: did Norik wore a standard Pehkui as a Matoran, kept it as a Toa, got a new metallic one shaped as a Noble Kiril upon its nomination as a Toa Hagah or did Norik wore another mask as a Matoran, kept this mask as a Toa, and then got a Kiril-shaped Pehkui or even did Norik wore one mask as a Matoran, changed his mask to a Pehkui upon his transformation in a Toa, and then got a Kiril-shaped Pehkui as a Toa Hagah?)

Thanks for your answer.

Hello Greg,

You once said that the black fire of Maxilos robots is not the same as normal flames. I would like to ask how are they different apart from the color. Does it have a different effect on a target ?

Thank you!

Did Nidhiki have to eat after becoming an insectoid? If so, then which way? Like Mata Nui Matoran or by, well, eating?

1) The G1 stories were aimed at 10-12 year olds. G2 was not aimed at kids that old.

2) Like I said, not being involved with G2, it wouldn't be appropriate for me to say, "Yes, there's this link between G1 or G2" or even if one is possible. The G2 guys had their own vision and only they can speak to this.

3) I can tell you definitively that there is no link between the NINJAGO and BIONICLE universes.

1) No

2) Yes

3) It hasn't really ended -- Little Brown is publishing NINJAGO graphic novels now.

4) No, I actually haven't had any freelance writing projects at all this year. Just doing my day job.

5) Doubtful. Since I am not writing for anything right now, beyond just editing the magazine, there's no reason for LEGO to send me to shows. Last show I did was Comic-Con in 2009.

1. Understandable. Waaait...10-12? That's just a suggestion, right? This universe is epic!

2. I get that. Who did write the stories? Do you know them? Why didn't you get the job? Your stories were more...in-depth.

3. True, true. I totally get that. But you have to admit, there are similarities, like the fact that one of the merged Rahkshi forms could turn itself into a cyclone and the skull spiders.

Do you know the Hageman brothers?

Also, do LEGO theme rights become free to the public when LEGO stops using them?
