1) Not sure, since I have never seen crystallized proto without a seal

2) I would think it would work  on all

3) Impossible to predict the outcome of fights. Think about it - if someone asked you to predict the fight in 1776, most people would have  picked the British: bigger, better trained, better armed military with a wealthy government backing them ... but they still lost. Too many intangibles come into play in a fight.

Hey Greg,

I was wondering-

1. If a few years down the line one the LEGO series you are currently working on was either cancelled or passed on to another author, and if LEGO gave the OK  to continue/reboot BIONICLE, would you agree to write the story again?

2. If BOINICLE did come back would you make it have a darker appeal like 2006 because of how BIONICLE's original fanbase is older now, or would you keep it more light-hearted like Chima?

3. Who is your favorite character out all the the stories you have written. my would probably be either Motoro or Lewa.

4. Were there other factors contributing to you stoping posting stories on bioniclestory.com besides being so busy?

5. Who was your favorite character in BIONICLE that isn't a hero or a villain but kind of in the middle (like Hydraxon or a matoran) ?

6. How's life?

I hope you respond Smile

1) "Agreement" doesn't really come into it. I work for LEGO Company - if they want me to work on it, then I will. If they don't, I won't.

2) I never saw a point in aging the story up to match the original fanbase, because the original fanbase had by and large aged out of buying sets. It would still be aimed at 9-11 year olds, like it always was.

3) Too many to list

4) Nope

5) I don't recall

@2

I bet many still would. Joking Us fans of Bionicle are a devoted bunch. Joking

You would hope, but back when BIONICLE was active, a lot of the original fans I talked to were no longer buying sets. They followed the story, but they had lost interest in buying models.

I have a question for you. I'd like to know why you stopped Bionicle. It was a really good theme and was one of the best themes. In fact I am sitting next to someone who owns 100+ bionicle and was devastated to learn the the theme was discontinued and replaced. Did you stop it for story reasons or for market reasons?

I won't ask now.

I have another question,

why is it that most of the story lines you make have a religious backround to them? Thinking

Sorry, no idea what you're talking about. I don't do stories with religious themes.

Backrounds  . . . NOT themes.

The background of Ninjago has some far eastern mysticism in it.  Because of the facts in it such as . . .

-When there is good there aways has to be evil, (That  is in the episode when Misako tells Lloyd and the other ninja the story of the overlord. - The first spinjitzu master created the world with 4 weapons . . .

Chima and Bionicle also have a backround to it all though I forgot what they are called.

And that would be relevant to your question if I had created any of those three -- but I didn't create Ninjago, Chima or BIONICLE. I worked within the worlds that I was given.

5. Are there more colors of Skakdi then the six seen?

1) Probably not. Suggestions should really be sent through Consumer Service.

2-3) I can't discuss future sets

5) Not that I know of

I rewrote the story, read it again, and you'll probably understant it:Wink
Mask of Variation/Appearance: Whenever a Matoran transforms into a Toa by using a Toa stone, it will have the appearance that it believes a Toa should have. The Mask of Variation/Appearance enables a Toa that has started believing in other appearances a Toa could have, to change its current appearance as a Toa. However, the mask can’t change a Toa’s appearance as long as it believes its current appearance is the only appearance a Toa could have. A Toa Hordika, a Turaga and other changed Toa can be given a new appearance by changing the appearance the being had in its normal, pure Toa form. But it can't remove the mutations or make the being look like it isn't mutated at all. The mask can also change the appearance of masks (others and itself), as long as the wearer of the mask believes it still looks like an actual Kanohi mask. Please try again to answer my questions. Smile

What benefit do you really get by looking like another type of Toa? It seems very specialized. I don't see how it would help in combat or to solve a Matoran problem, it seems like it's just about appearance.

Simple, you remember the Piraka made the Voya Nui Matoran believe they were Toa? If you would have given one of these Matoran a Toa Stone, it would have become a Toa that looks like a Skakdi! The Mask could make them look like actualy Toa, as soon as they've realized how a Toa really looks like. And a difference in appearance ranging from Toa Mata to Toa Metru to Toa Inika is indeed of combat importance! And like the mask of Charisma, you could use it for conviction and a better position. Happy

But you are specifying a difference in APPEARANCE,  not powers, so turning from a Mata to an Inika is not going to change your powers, just how you look. So how is it an advantage in combat?

Hey, Greg! I have to say, it's AWESOME to meet you! Now, I would get on about how cool it is to talk to you, but I'll just get to the point.

1. Did the skulkin make the Tower of Tears? After all, their original job was to imprison things worse than themselves (and the smoke creatures are potentially the most powerful beings in all of Ninjago). Plus, there were bones when Cardinsto disappeared, and Garms needed someone to destroy the ToT for him. And who else would be better than his servants, the very creators of it?

2. In Legends of Metru Nui, Teridax/Dume is seen talking to some dark figure at one point. Who is this figure? Eliminator? Antroz?

3. Would the Piraka's nicknames (the ones in the commercials, such as 'Tracer' or 'Trigger') be considered their Dark Hunter codenames?

1) No, they did not.

2) He's talking into a mirror.

3) Goodness, I hope not Smile I always hated those names.

Hi Greg! Two things:

2:  What is your favorite wave of Bionicle sets (ex. Mata, Nuva, etc.)

1) No

2) Rahkshi, probably - nice design plus they saved the line from being cancelled.

Wow! I didn't know the Rahkshi saved the line from being cancelled! That's cool! Thanks Greg!

  3.  I heard the creators of Ninjago and Warner Bros are making a Ninjago Movie. What will it be about?
  4. Will the Overlord ever return in the new seasons or movie?
  5. Who will be the main enemy of the new season?
  6. Will Zane be hacked?
  7. I heard that Zane had a cousin who lived with Dr. Julien after his house burned down with his parents. He later came up with a plan of an evil robot which made Dr. Julien feel how mad he was. He later ran away from Dr. Julien. Years later, he found out he was wrong and went to find Dr. Julien. He wasn't there. The only thing he had found was a blueprint that had a big printing on it saying "Zane". He kept the blueprint and vowed to find Dr. Julien that day. Is the rumor true?
  8. Will the ninja be getting new suits?

GREG FARSHTEY, YOU ARE MY HERO!!!Heart

2) What are you referring to?
