What's it like working at LEGO?

Pretty busy, most of the time. Smile

could you ask the people at LEGO direct to do a contest???

Two questions:

1) Would it make sense for LEGO to do this for a line that has been cancelled for years, and

2) Where would it be run, since there are no more official BIONICLE web sites?

they could allow a temperary site to have the rest of the story
as a LEGO club special

It's a nice idea, but there is no budget at the company to do anything at all with BIONICLE at this point. It's been cancelled for three years now.

I have some more questions, Greg, if you don't mind answering.

1. When the Ignika turned Dekar into the new Hydraxon, did he lose all connection with his element of Stone? Dekar used to be a Po-Matoran - was his element buried, like his memories, or did he simply cease to have any relation with Stone? Could he re-obtain that relation, somehow?

2. Can either Hydraxon wear Kanohi?

3. Do you think that it would be possible at all for the new Hydraxon to ever unlock his memories of being Dekar?

4. I know that some Order of Mata Nui members, such as Trinuma, are still living. Is the Order of Mata Nui still being held together, or have they split up for the time being, now that Mata Nui is dormant and Teridax defeated?

5. Were Rahkshi (or the process of making them) invented for the Makuta by the Great Beings, or did Makuta invent them?

6. I never fully understood Kapura - I've heard conflicting rumors about how he gets around by moving so slowly. Isn't he just an ordinary Ta-Matoran? He can't teleport, right?

Thanks a lot! Happy

Mr. Farshtey?

I don't blame you at all if you missed this (you're obviously very busy!) but could you answer my questions, please? They seem to have gotten lost in the shuffle...

Thank you!

1) He would have to go back to being a Matoran. Hydraxon is not connected to an element.

2) No

3) Possibly, yes

4) They are still a viable organization

5) Good question. I believe the capability had to have come from the GBs, which means they were intended to play some worthwhile role in the universe.

6) I have heard the same things you have. That whole Kapura thing comes from the original story bible and I never heard an explanation of what the payoff was supposed to be for it.

If Makuta can create Matoran, that Matoran could become a Toa? If the Destiny "wants it"?

Makuta could bring Matoran into being while he was in Mata Nui's body, but as a Makuta, there is no evidence he created Matoran. And it is likely that any Matoran he created would not be destined to be Toa, since he would not want more Toa in the universe.

Sorry, I misread your question. I posted because I had something to say. I'm not aware of any rule that says I can only post in this topic. Knowing you were/are a BIONICLE fan, I just find it ironic that you are sounding so much like the LEGO fans who ripped BIONICLE, started petitions against it, and wanted it shut down in 2001. It wasn't their thing, so they wanted to take it away from you.

I collect comics, have for ages, and there are lot I don't read -- some just because, and some because I actively dislike them. But I do not insist that the companies cancel those comics just because I don't want to read them. I simply don't buy them, as I am sure you do not buy Chima sets. I vote with my wallet. If a lot of other people disagree with me and do buy those books, the books will continue -- if not, they will get cancelled.

Well said, Greg. That's exactly what I'm doing with FFSmile

There are thirty nine species in the Matoran universe without a name. Do you have any names for them? Do you have names for Mata Nui's six prime species? I was thinking maybe Ehlek's could be Anguilli

Could you clarify what Makuta powers Brutaka and Tahu got after being expossed to Antidermis, in one way or another? I'd really love to know what new powers they both have.
