Do you have any characters from Ninjago that you just really like writing about or in their perspective? How about in Bionicle or Exo-Force?

I've been wondering this for a while: in Bionicle, when a Toa completes his/her destiny, they are turned into a Turaga. Couldn't that have been seen as a complication in the Great Beings' eyes, since they could interfere with the completion of other being's destinies? Or, are they somehow given a sort of knowledge of what everyone's destiny is so they know what not to do to mess it up?

I don't understand your question. How would them becoming Turaga interfere with the completion of other beings' destinies?

All beings have a destiny, right? Something that they have to complete at the end of their life. When Toa finished their destiny, they were turned into Turaga. So, couldn't that mean that Turaga were, in a way, aimless in what they did afterward and, if mislead, could do stuff that could throw other beings off the trail to completing their destiny (turaga have helped with some major things throughout history, such as Vakama giving Tahu the Vahi and Dume telling everyone that Mata Nui was dying)?

Sorry if this is confusing

1. What organs in beings from BIONICLE are organic, and what mechanic? Can you say something more about all body, for example Toa's body?

2. Could you write stories at BioSector01, or at blog or something, if you can't do it at BZPower?

Sometimes you don't. Sometimes you think you have a great idea for a story, but when you try to write it, it just doesn't work. i think the only way you really know this is experience. You know how long the story has to be and so you get a feel for how much plot you need to fill a book that size. (I once had a friend who wrote a novel. It was supposed to be 100,000 words and it was about these people going off to colonize a new planet. He was so nervous that he wouldn't have enough plot to fill the book that he spent 90,000 words getting them ready to go and then had only 10,000 words left for when they got there.)

Did he ever publish the book? Also, couldn't he have just made it longer if he wanted?

1) It got published after the editor basically hacked it to pieces.

2) No. If you are commissioned to write a book, as was the case here, you get told how many words/pages it has to be. Making it longer costs the publisher more money in printing, so they are not going to okay that. For example, the BIONICLE books were 20,000 words, that's what they had to be. The Ninjago graphic novels are 50 pages plus 4 pages of preview, and you can't go over that.

It takes place after the end of 2013 storyline.

What 2013 storylineConfused?

Stone army is considered 2013 storyline. Although the episodes aired in late 2012, the sets came out in 2013, so that is considered 2013 story.

Greg, i read your outline/script  for the movie that was supposed to be the one after the legend reborn. Could you explain what would have happened after they were teleported to the "dinosaur" world.

We hadn't made firm plans for that, because the line was cancelled before we could do so.

I'm sorry my last question didn't make sense! Let me see if I can clarify:

About Exo-Force: the story suddenly cut off in the middle, right when the Jungle Era was starting. Before they discontinued it, did you have any ideas on how the story may have ended? Was there anything you might have liked to see happen?

No, I didn't. I wasn't on the E-F story team, so I didn't really have any insight into what their plans were.

Also, totally random question: do you know why in Ninjago, Kai has a scar on his face in the comics but not on the the show? I'm very confused by this. Is there some reason or a backstory to this?

I can't answer as to the show, because I don't work on it, but the comics are based on the actual minifigure.

Also, what story teams do you currently work on? Is it only Ninjago and Chima, or do you do others? (I'm assuming since Bionicle was discontinued, that you no longer write for that anymore)

I'm not on any story teams right now. The stories for Ninjago and Chima come from a collaboration between LEGO HQ in Billund and the TV screenwriters.

No idea what you are referring to. To my knowledge, there are no new ninja heroes being added to the story in 2014.

my questions

will there be a bionical comic?(did you already make a comic?)
will there be a bionical online game like chima online that will actully work in my country?
will any other bionical games be released?

Hi -- BIONICLE was cancelled by the LEGO Company in 2010. It's no longer an active line, so there are no plans for comics or games for it.

Jay is fun to write for in Ninjago. Kopaka was my favorite in BIONICLE. I didn't have a favorite in E-F.
