Okay I'm a huge fan of the Bionicle artwork I saw in one of the Brickmaster 2010 article. It looked really cool. Maybe if you had a 2010 LEGO Magizine The Best Of Brickmaster 2010 book you could find what I was talking about. Who did that artwork cause I love it! I even used the style in one of my drawings! I know it'll be hard to find what I'm talking about. Maybe you could get your hand on a copy of the March/April 2010 issue it wich it's in. Please reply!

Even if I found it, doubt I would remember who did it.

Ahh. Okay. I understand. Then can you tell me who did most of the artwork for the Bionicle aduio things on their website? That was really cool! If not then it's okay. Sorry art is one of my hobbies.

GREG!

Ever since I really read the Bio comics and gone into Bio (I came in on the tail end, my first LEGO magazine was actually the issue right before Glatorian started, and I was young and not as interested then), I've become a fanatic. I won't bother getting into details any farther. Joking Anyhow, this is deffinately my favorite theme, I mean, it's so deep-I don't even have any of the figures myself except my brother's old Tahu Nuva (which is proudly displayed on the mantle, position changing to my mood). It really was a universe, and Bionicle could be just as good without the toy-it's not really just a toy, but a story in itself. That's where it differs from all the other themes. It has depth, anda truly full fleged story. It was my suprise that Ninjago was so deep actually, as it's more aimed towards a younger audience. I really want another theme like Bionicle, but I don't thik anythinwould compare. It seems I should ask a few questions while you're here.

1) I've listened to the podcast "The Truth" from the Bionicle site before it was taken down, and came up with one question: Is Mata Nui and the endless ocean outside the Mata Nui Robot while Metru Nui is inside?

2) Why can't you just give us the info like the TSO's name? Or are you holding out hope Bio would be revived and can use it then? Joking

3) I've read all the comics (and gotten many of the books from the library), but there is still apperantly a LOT I don't know. Where was all this info given? Was it all in the BIoniclestory.com serials, or somewhere else? Btw, you could finish on BZPower or the BioMedia Project.

1) The island of Mata Nui is the robot's face, and the ocean is the ocean he is lying in. Metru Nui is the robot's brain.

2) Because it ruins the mystique of the character if you reveal so much about him

3) Probably the novel series

I am not aware of any plans to bring it back.

Today started out as any normal day... I had a wierd dream and slept in late. I then checked out the BIO forum as usual, only to make a shocking discovery: IT'S GREG FARSHTEY IN PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!

I slapped myself multiple times to see if I was dreaming, but alas, THIS IS A MIRACLE!

I just wanted to tell you I am a dedicated fan of BIONICLE, and do love your works. The plot twists and character depths really inspire me as an author myself.

Anyways, question time!

1. When I write BIONICLE stories, it is hard to put Chuteseak/Treespeak in it. I know you never liked it, but any tips on what fits and what doesn't?

2. Were you dissapointed that BIONICLE was sceduled to end earlier?

3. You were said to be able to finish The Powers That Be, but now there's no more BIONICLEstory.com for you to post it on. If you were able to get it up, where would you put it?

That's all my baffled head can think of now...

I think I might've been answered, but never adressed...

1) Oh, I hated treespeak. I would try to help you but I have done my best to forget that part of the experience.
2) I am sure all fans were.

3) No idea.

@#1

Yeah I leaned how terrible it is when using Tamaru in my fan story "Destiny still to be reached" in the Bionicle forum.

So you do Ninjago too? Joking I did not expect it. Joking What is your job exactly with Ninjago? Joking

I write the Papercutz Ninjago graphic novels.

So that's why those are so cool. Joking.

Oooh, here's a question I'm sure someone's already asked (Joking): Which year of BIONICLE was your Favorite?

Since you made ninjago, does that also mean you made chima?

I didn't create either one. I have done graphic novels for Ninjago and short stories for Chima, but I have no involvement in the TV series or the overall story for the year.

Oh, ok.

Hello again, Mr. Farshtey!

I'm sorry I made two separate posts for my questions, but I forgot this question that I always wanted to ask:

Did you come up with the storyline for BIONICLE before the sets were designed, or did you work with the sets are provide a plot for them?

1+2) Ah, that makes sense.

3) I thought those just included the stuff in the comics. Ah, well. I'll have to get them out from the library.

And I'd just like to mention the artwork for your comics is amazing-It's rather sad (personally) that your current projects can't use it more, as opposed to Bionicle which was so diverse, with the characters, the environment, and everything else.

I'm glad y that you are taking the time to talk to us. It's great that you're here! Smile

Did you get the Bionicle sets? (I'm guessing you did Joking ) And if so, which one was your favorite one to build? Not your favorite figure, but favorite build?

This is so awesome! Happy
