Was Velika's true nature planned way back in 2006?  Also, why Velika? Joking

Okay, we have a topic in the BIONICLE forum where BIONICLE experts give "lectures" about the history of BIONICLE.  I was wondering if you would consider giving some "lectures." Smile

I'm not sure if you would be allowed to answer this or not, but here goes.

Mr. Farshtey, do you and the LEGO company plan to create another theme similar to Bionicle or Hero Factory?

GREG!

Ever since I really read the Bio comics and gone into Bio (I came in on the tail end, my first LEGO magazine was actually the issue right before Glatorian started, and I was young and not as interested then), I've become a fanatic. I won't bother getting into details any farther. Joking Anyhow, this is deffinately my favorite theme, I mean, it's so deep-I don't even have any of the figures myself except my brother's old Tahu Nuva (which is proudly displayed on the mantle, position changing to my mood). It really was a universe, and Bionicle could be just as good without the toy-it's not really just a toy, but a story in itself. That's where it differs from all the other themes. It has depth, anda truly full fleged story. It was my suprise that Ninjago was so deep actually, as it's more aimed towards a younger audience. I really want another theme like Bionicle, but I don't thik anythinwould compare. It seems I should ask a few questions while you're here.

1) I've listened to the podcast "The Truth" from the Bionicle site before it was taken down, and came up with one question: Is Mata Nui and the endless ocean outside the Mata Nui Robot while Metru Nui is inside?

2) Why can't you just give us the info like the TSO's name? Or are you holding out hope Bio would be revived and can use it then? Joking

3) I've read all the comics (and gotten many of the books from the library), but there is still apperantly a LOT I don't know. Where was all this info given? Was it all in the BIoniclestory.com serials, or somewhere else? Btw, you could finish on BZPower or the BioMedia Project.

1) The island of Mata Nui is the robot's face, and the ocean is the ocean he is lying in. Metru Nui is the robot's brain.

2) Because it ruins the mystique of the character if you reveal so much about him

3) Probably the novel series

Uh, wait... Mata Nui was his face?

Oh... Someone screwed up one of the animations... Joking

Oh, a question I forgot. I remember hearing what the development name was for Bionicle, but have since forgotten. What was it?

It was, at one time, "The Boneheads of Voodoo Island".

Hello, Mr. Farshtey.

I can't believe I just typed that.

Anyways, I could spend all day lavishing praise on you and your library of work, but I'll just say THANKS for the donations you've made to the worlds of Ninjago, Bionicle, Hero Factory, and all of your other contributions. Smile

I've got a few questions for you.

Could you give me some writing tips? How do you make your characters so compelling? Or your environments so lifelike?

Can you give me some insights into the life of a Bionicle? Where do they come from? What's the deal with the "Red Star Reincarnation" thing? If not robots exactly, what are they? Some kind of bio-organic life form? How did the universe come into being?

How did you come to be here on the MBs, answering questions? What was your reaction? Do you like the Messageboards?

Which if any LEGO sets do you have?

How did you come up with your username?

Have you ever had a dream about Bionicle, or something else you were writing?

That's probably more than enough questions. Thank you for your time! Wink

Hi Greg,

First of all, thanks for all of your fantastic work over the years!  Your stories are always great reads, and they link together really well.

My question is this; although it's been a long time now since Bionicle ended and you're a very busy man, would you ever like to release the remaining chapters of "The Yesterday Quest" and/or "The Powers That Be"?

I'm not sure with the Bionicle website being taken down now if you could, or it would have to be released unofficially elsewhere, or if you simply wouldn't be allowed, simply not have the time or would just prefer to leave it as it is.  I'm not one of these people who will run around begging you to bring back Bionicle, but it would be nice to have a couple of the loose ends tied up.

I imagine (although as I said, you may not be able to say) that you have ideas as to what would have happened to Kopaka, Pohatu and Mavrah on the Red Star and it would be great to hear how that ends, if Lewa is safe, and what becomes of the brainwashed Toa Inika?

Hope to hear something from you but as there are many, many pages, it's no problem if you can't/don't!  Keep up the great work! Smile

Greg, I have two questions for you:

1. Which Toa do you think you identified most with?

2. When Makuta got hit in the head with one of the chunks in the last series, that that nearly destroy Metru Nui?

P.S. I have to let my inner fan out somewhere: OH MY god! GREG FARSHTEY! SO AWESOME SO AWESOME AAAAAAHHHHAAAAAAHHHHHHAAAAAHH!

*Passes out*

I thought it was something to that effect.
