Dear Greg,

I have some questions about Glatorian and Agori that I hope you don't mind answering:

1) If Bionicle were to come back, do you think the Glatorian and Agori would stay as an important part of the story? If it were up to you, would you keep them? I think they should stay, because they would add so much dynamic to the lore and variety to the characters. A Toa-Glatorian team sounds really awesome in my mind, and it could also set up some future conflicts.

2) This might sound like a weird question, but what color is Glatorian and Agori blood? Might I suggest blue? Blue blooded animals exist in real life, Mr. Farshtey-a good example would be the horshoe crab. Horshoe crab blood doesn't use iron-based hemoglobin to carry oxygen like ours do. Instead, they use the copper-based hemocyanin, thus explaining its blue color. In fact, Tuma's blood in the TLR movie was blue. I think having blue is cool, because it would reinforce the alien nature of the SM inhabitants.

3) Finally, are Glatorian/Agori mammalian/close to mammalian ?

Instead of Anger and Fear, did the Makuta of The Melding Alternate Universe have Peace and Courage (the opposites according to Mata Nui Online Game II)?

Why didn't the matoran notice how the makuta did all the work, made all the rahi, and all the tools?

Why did Tuyet betray the toa? Was she power crazy?

What does the phrase for the piraka sea snakes mean? Aren't the skakdi toa like in build?

Why did the Toa stop the Bohrok from destroying Mata Nui? Couldn't they just evacuate?

Did Pewku have other forms other then a crab?

Why would Nidhiki betray the Toa if he was best of friends with Lhikan?

What impact did the Makuta virus have on the plot?

3) I meant the plants themselves. Can a jungle Toa absorb them into his body ?

1 - Will we ever know how Matoran are created ?
2 - When the Metru Nui population went to the Island of Mata Nui, did they knew(or felt) that they weren't on their universe anymore, or they didn't even notice ?

3 - Matoran native from the same Island have same type of armor(like the 2004 Matoran and 2007 ones) ?

4 - Why the GBs genuine Shadow Matoran ?

Hi Greg!

I am a big, a realy big fan of the Bionicles. And I also admire the theme LEGO Ninjago.

But I have a question for you...

Why did LEGO end the Bionicle saga? Sad

Can you please answer to my question?

Thank you for your time.

I'm pleased to ask you questions Greg and that you take the time out of your days to answer them, Smile

1: From the Bionicle Wiki, it explains that if a Matoran loses their Kanohi mask, they slowly lose energy and then fall into a coma and die unless the mask is replaced, correct?

2: So, on average, in real life terms, how many "days" or "hours" would it take for said Matoran without mask to die or go into a coma?

3: Would the Matoran's will affect how long he/she survives without it?

4: Assuming that they would survive for a day or a few hours, could two Matoran share one mask, one of the mtaking it off and giving it to the other when the other one was about to die? And the vice versa?

Thanks for this oppurtunity to ask, I know that you've been trying to endure the amount of questions that you aren't allowed to discuss and I'm grateful you haven't quit the topic for the amount of questions being asked.

Hey Greg, I have a theory regarding the Red Star.

What if it was Velika who broke it?

If we're assuming that he did give the Matoran sentience, then he's already into messing with the inner workings of the MU. How he would break it from down in the Great Spirit Robot, I don't know.

As for why, it could be that he viewed a system that brought deceased beings back as too unpredictable, too problematic. If he wanted to kill off some of the more powerful beings in the universe, he may not have wanted them to be able to come back. Some characters in the MU (Miserix would be a good example, I think) might use the second opportunity at life to attack Velika.

Does this make sense? Sorry if I'm not explaining this well.

1. Can all rahi wear masks?

2. Is the orange Pakari on the Fikou's back a mask or a shell?

3. If it is a mask, whats the head piece thing? Like a shell?

4. How exactly are Fikou dangerous? BS01 says they are dangerous when threatened but all I see they can do, besides the ones from the Southern Continent, is make some strong webs. Do they have any other abilities?

5. It is stated that there are several different Fikou each adapted to life in a different region. Black is Onu-Metru/Wahi and Orange is Le-Metru/Wahi. Could it be possible for blue Fikou to be related to the water regions, Red to the fire, brown to the stone, white for the Ice?

6. As the Fikou have emmigrated to Spherus Magna, would they migrate to an area that is similar to the region they have already adapted to, or will they just simply adapt to whatever environment they are in now?

7. What would be the conservation status for the Fikou? Would they be common, uncommon, endangered, what?

1) I would say no. There are a number of Rahi who would be too small (even microscopic) to wear Kanohi.

2-3) Looking at the model, I would think it would be intended to be part of the spider's body, not a mask it wore.

4) Spiders bite, Boidoh.

5) Yes, it is possible

6) They would try, but depending on how long it takes to get to such a region, they might perish during the migration.

7) I think Fikou were fairly common.

Hey greg why does Malum have a My LEGO network acount.

I can't speak to that specifically, but we did a lot of talking with the MLN people about 2009 story. The idea of Thornax came from those discussions.

Hey Greg, I thought of a couple more questions:

1) The last time we saw him, Conjurer was still in a coma. So when the time came for the MU to be evacuated in favour of Spherus Magna, did he remain on Odina? Or did The Shadowed One order someone to take him with them?

2) Would everyone who remained inside the robot die after a period of time due to the robot's life support systems failing, and be sent to the Red Star as a result?

3) What was the substance that the Bohrok-Kal were exposed to to become... well, Bohrok-Kal?

4) Were Atakus's blades created directly by the Great Beings, or crafted from Great Being technology?

5) In a completely hypothetical situation, if BIONICLE were to come back, would the original story team be reassembled or would a new one be formed?

6) Would someone already powerful enough to wear a Legendary mask (for example, Artakha) be able to use the Vahi to travel forwards in time?

Thanks again!

1) TSO was not around the DH during the evacuation, he had already disappeared, remember? Odds are he would have been  left behind and only found if a salvage team happened upon him.

2) Depends. The robot is being disassembled, so depending on where in the robot they are, air and heat and light might come in due to that.

3) Not something we ever revealed, I don't think

4) Probably neither. Remember, the tech was alien to Bara Magna - the GBs are not alien to Bara Magna.

6) Anyone who wears the Vahi can make time move faster for them. Beyond that, it cannot be used for time travel by anyone.

1. When Teridax wears an infected Kanohi Hau, could he use the powers of protection?

2. If Krahka were to be infected with a Kanohi, could she use the powers of the infected Kanohi under the influence of the Makuta who infected it?

3. Could Rahi be controlled by Krana?

4. Has there ever been an instance where a Bohrok decided to launch its Krana at a Rahi. For example, the Rahi attacked the Bohrok and the Bohrok launched the Krana.

5. When Makuta appeared as a Matoran with an Infected Hau, could he use the Kanohi? Or was him in the shape of a Matoran somehow made it so he couldn't?

6. Is 'Pin the Tail on the Ash Bear' a real activity Matoran do?

7. Does the Hanhah Crab still have Jaller's Cordak Blaster on its back?

8. Can it shoot at will with it if it does  still have it?

9. Does that mean Jaller doesn't have a blaster any more?

10. Did he find a new blaster? If yes, is it still a Cordak, or is it another type.

11. Could Toa channel their power through a Cordak Blaster, Midak Skyblaster, Nynrah Ghost Blaster, ect.?

12. After the defeat of Teridax, did the Hanhah Crabs leave the pit waters to move to Aqua Magna?

13. Will they just stay in the robot, or will they move to Aqua Magna?

14. There is a population of Hahnah Crabs migrated to the black waters and are on Aqua Magna, when the planets were merge back into one, did any Hahnah Crabs die in the progress?

1) I can't recall us showing Teridax wearing one, if we did, it was a result of shapeshifting and it wasn't really a Hau.

2) I don't think we ever showed Krahka using a Kanohi power - it is entirely possible she cannot use mask powers.

3) Yes

4) It's possible

5) He wasn't really wearing a Hau. See #1

6) It's a game, yes

7) I would assume Jaller took it back at some point.

11) Possibly

12) Any waters inside the robot are going to drain out onto the sands of Bara Magna, since that is where the robot is. The Toa would need to relocate sea creatures to Aqua Magna.

14) Possibly, sure.

17. Did any other planets have cores of Energized Protodermis?

18. If yes, could the EP Entity exist there aswell?

19. Why is it that when the swarms were unleashed once again, they didn't try to free Tahnok-Kal from his stasis?

20. Was he destroyed upon Mata Nui rising?

21. What has happened to Lehvak-Kal's Krana-Kal?

22. Is the Vacuum Shield held by Levahk-Kal orbiting around Aqua/Spherus Magna still?

23. Did Nuhvok-Kal die inside the mini-black hole?

24. Is it possible that Nuhvok-Kal Blackhole was a wormhole and now exists somewhere else in Spacetime?

25. If the swarms were unleashed on Spherus Magna, would they help the civilization, like in The Kingdom Alternate Universe?

26. Where is Kohrak-Kal's Krana-Kal?

27. Has the blackhole that Nuhvok-Kal created closed?

28. Would Nuhvok-Kal end up in alternate universe?

15) The robot is being taken apart on Bara Magna, so yes

16-18) We never did any or planned any stories about those planets, so I can't answer these.

19) Because it wasn't their priority. Bohrok don't have concepts like loyalty, except to the Bahrag.

20) Why would it have been? It wasn't outside the robot

21) Nothing

22) If he is, yes

23) Yes

24) I don't believe so, no

25) If they were reprogrammed, that would be possible

26) It would have been inside the robot. It may or may not have survived the death of Makuta.

27) Yes

28) No. He would have been crushed to death.
