PointlessQuest…

The Yesterday Quest featured Kabrua and a pack of his Vorox, who had made contact with Velika. They also wielded rare and powerful Core War-era weaponry: blasters, which were capable of launching spheres of explosive force. A few questions about these Vorox.

1. Gelu originally thought the Vorox had contacted a GB (which turned out to be true) because he thought this technology was "beyond the backwards Vorox", but this was before he found out that the Vorox were intelligent. Did Velika give the Vorox these weapons, or did they have them during the Core War and keep them for 100,000 years?

2. Various Bara Magna vehicles seen in 2009 sets and story were equipped with "force blasters", described as having a near-identical function to the weapons wielded by the Vorox. Are the Vorox's blasters and force blasters one and the same?

3. Kabrua also knew of the regression of the Bara Magna Vorox when he encountered Gelu and company, just a few days or weeks after the reformation of Spherus Magna. This surprised Gelu, because of how quickly Kabrua found out. It is possible that Velika gave them this information, but then again, Velika would not really have any reason to know about the Bara Magna Vorox. How did Kabrua find out about the treatment of the Bara Magna Vorox?

Thank you for your time, as always.

Dear Greg, which are your favourite writers?
Have you ever read authors such as Burroughs, Baldwin, Fante?

Keepingyour previous answer in mind, I did some more reading.

According to the BS01 timeline 265000+ years ago, the "Great Beings are the rulers of the highly advanced warrior (I assume this refers to Glatorian) and Agori civilisations," operating out of their giant Maze.

Following this timeline, it isn't until much later, 103000 years ago, that the dreaming plague strikes. 3000 years later, the Element Lords are created. So is this timeline incorrect, and the Glatorian as a species came into existence sometime during the 3000 years between the dreaming plague and Element Lords, or is it correct in saying that the Glatorian existed well before then?

If they did exist before the plague, does the potential remain for Iron Glatorian to have existed, and if so, do any still exist? I'm honestly curious about this, because it seems unusual that the Iron tribe be the only ones without Glatorian defenders.

Also, when you say "Glatorian system" are you referring to the gladiator battles in the arenas, or to the formation of the Glatorian species. I was referring to the latter in my original question, just to clarify.

Thanks again for your time.

I think we are discussing two different things. Yes, members of the species who eventually became Glatorian did exist for the Iron Trible. However, Glatorian is not a species name, it is a job title (we never assigned a species name to the Glatorian). So those beings were not working as Glatorian and fighting in the arena, because that system did not exist during their lifetimes. And I think it is unlikely any are still alive.

It was a few years ago, but you  previously confirmed Telluris to be a a surviving member of this species from the iron tribe.  Is this still true?

What does "toughness" mean on the Bionicle.com stats?

I just looked it up. Apparently Telluris was from the warrior class. I never even thought to check. I'd alway assumed he was an Agori. He's dead now anyway.

Ah... got it.

Could someone be a dedicated translator for Lewa until he learns Agori? Like Nuju?

Hi Mr. Farshtey, I was just wondering if you know what the purpose of the black spheres on the toa mata's chests was.

And on an unrelated note...

If you were a Toa, which element would you like to have and why?

Hi Mr. Farshtey, I have a question about "Tomb of Fangpyre" graphic novel. According to it, Great Devourer was once a normal snake, until darkness touch him. Was this "darkness" the Overlord? Because this "darkness" appear on the same rules as Overlord - peaceful beginning of Land of Ninjago, then due to balance between good and evil, Overlord appear in Ninjago. He can also corrupt beings, so this is next similarity. Additionally this graphic novel was released in 2012, year when Overlord appear for a first time, and I know that you write graphic novels based on TV episodes' scripts.

I suppose it's possible, but I would hope he would be able to learn enough of the basics to get along. He doesn't have to be fluent  in it to function  in the society.

It refers to how well they can withstand damage.
