The Yesterday Quest featured Kabrua and a pack of his Vorox, who had made contact with Velika. They also wielded rare and powerful Core War-era weaponry: blasters, which were capable of launching spheres of explosive force. A few questions about these Vorox.

1. Gelu originally thought the Vorox had contacted a GB (which turned out to be true) because he thought this technology was "beyond the backwards Vorox", but this was before he found out that the Vorox were intelligent. Did Velika give the Vorox these weapons, or did they have them during the Core War and keep them for 100,000 years?

2. Various Bara Magna vehicles seen in 2009 sets and story were equipped with "force blasters", described as having a near-identical function to the weapons wielded by the Vorox. Are the Vorox's blasters and force blasters one and the same?

3. Kabrua also knew of the regression of the Bara Magna Vorox when he encountered Gelu and company, just a few days or weeks after the reformation of Spherus Magna. This surprised Gelu, because of how quickly Kabrua found out. It is possible that Velika gave them this information, but then again, Velika would not really have any reason to know about the Bara Magna Vorox. How did Kabrua find out about the treatment of the Bara Magna Vorox?

Thank you for your time, as always.

1) Yes, he did

2) Based on the same tech, but not exactly the same.

3) Ah, very good question. Here's a hint -- although the GBs had lost contact with Mata Nui, Velika never lost contact with the remnants of Spherus Magna. So he knew a great deal of what was going on through agents loyal to him that no one else in the MU would have known.

I recently saw images and articles about a suspected Bionicle re-release in 2015. I am not asking you to confirm or deny it, but in an earlier post you said if Bionicle did come back, you would most likely erase all past history and start anew. However, I love the bionicle story, and if you deleted it, I would probably go crazy (more than I already am). You could instead have it be in a seperate world, making it have the same elements, virtues, and biomechanichal beings, but not coming in contact with the previous world and therefore preserving or even continuing it. I would love it if you could do something like that and not destroy the most amazing story I have ever read.

What it would be if it came back is just my speculation. But a reboot is a reboot -- it normally does not relate to the past version. The Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies are not taking place in the same "movie reality" as the Tobey Maguire ones did. The New 52 comic stories, although featuring the same characters as DC has always had, are not considered to be a part of the past comics' reality. That's basically the point of a reboot.

Red Star Questions:

1) If someone loses a limb or other body part in an incident seperate from the one that kills them, will they respawn with the part? And if they change masks, will they respawn with their original mask?

2) If someone dies while using the Iden, will they respawn without a spirit, respawn with a copy of their spirit, or have their spirit transported ro the RS

3) Does the Red Star transport beings into it, or does a device in the MU? If it is a device in the MU, does it have a radius of effect, or do the walls of the Mata Nui robot stop it's effect?

Other questions:

1) Is a Matoran's heartlight a mechanichal "heart", or does it flash in time to/monitor/indicate the beat of the heart organ

2) Skakdi have inbred viciousness, but does that mean all of them are vicious? There have been Toa and matoran that aren't good, so there must be Skakdi who aren't evil.

3) If the Great Beings thought the Toa could turn bad and were powerful enough to install a safegaurd, why didn't they install a safegaurd for the Makuta, who were much more powerful and had less programmed goodwill and compassion

4) Where are the Great Beings from

Thanks for doing this, and thanks for the awesomeness of Bionicle!

Did you miss this? I don't see an answer. Sorry if I'm nagging, I just really want an answer.

I didn't  miss it, I  just can't always get to all the questions right away because I do have a day job Smile

You've just given a tantalizing hint that Velika has had loyal agents/contacts stationed on Bara Magna. My question, then, is a simple one.

Were any of the Bara Magna characters we saw in 2009 acting as informants for Velika?

(Or were most of Velika's contacts just people we didn't meet?)

Greg, can you pleeeeeeease answer at least some of these questions:

1) What do you think is the average strength level among Toa, discounting elements like Stone or Earth?  We know that the average Toa has a strength level above Class 1, meaning they can lift more than a ton. Seeing as Toa are 7 feet tall and mostly mechanical, I'd say the average Toa can lift 5-6 tons. What do you think?

2) Do MU inhabitants need to drink water to survive, or do they rely entirely on the energy they absorb from their food?

3) The Ba-matoran's elemental trait is that they can resist high pressures. Does that mean they are more physically durable than other matoran, allowing them to withstand these pressures; or are they simply less bothered by it?

4) Seeing as a Glatorian's sole purpose in society is to fight in Arena Matches to get their village materials to survive, it would make sense for them to be tought combat skills at a young age, like the start of adolescence, yes?

5) Seeing as Toa are physically stronger and taller than humans, it'd make sense for them to be able to run faster than humans, right?

All during Mata Nui's journey of 100,000 years. And he was not only talking to people on Bara Magna, but Bota as well.

I am only speculating on what BIONICLE MIGHT look like if it ever came back someday. We are not discussing anything you may have seen elsewhere on the web.

I think it would be enormously unfair of me to say that and then say that all his agents were people you didn't meet (that seems like a cheat). So yes to your first question.

1) No idea. We never quantified any of this, because we knew it would end up changing as story demands changed.

2) I can't recall us ever saying that they did. I could be wrong, but I would tend to think they don't.

3) Isn't that basically the same thing?

4) Yes

5) They are stronger, but they are also heavier, so I think there could be a debate over how fast they would run.

Hey Greg, do you know how Elementak Power is stored in a Toa's body? Also, do you know how it is generated?

Would any of these characters be Kyry or Raanu because they were trusted by the GBs during the Core War and Raanu knew about MN's existence?

Does the default form of the adaptive armour made by artahka look exactly the same as the regular form of the nuva? Or is there some variation?
