Mr. Farshtey,

Do you know which bionicle set had the most units sold?

Thanks.

I don't know which specific set sold best. I know our best year overall was 2002.

Hello Mr Farshtey,

I had a few questions, regarding a tabletop roleplay I'm writing:

1) Can Vortixx use Kanohi? And if they can, how would they be attached to their heads? Like a hat possibly, or would they need custom made ones to fit their heads.

1.a) Did Roodaka get captured again over time?

2) Did the other "prisoners" in the Fortress on Bota Magna escape as well? Especially Hafu and Kapura?

3) Can the Red Star be fixed, AT ALL?

4) What would New Atero have looked like? Split between Agori, Glatorian and the Matoran Race (including Toa and Turaga), or is everyone mixed? Divided in sections like Metru-Nui?

Kind Regards, Laura

hello mister farshtey

I have a couple of questions

question 1, if some how, the mata nui robot waked itself, what would that mean for the mata/nuvas destiny? do they just have to become turaga or something else?
question 2: theoretically if some disater that required mata nui to help fix were to happen, and during this the mata would be turaga, what will happen? will they be transformed back to toa or a new toa team would be sent out?

question 3: so..matoro..why didnt the ignika bring him back to life?...and was it that the toa ignika was the spirit of matoro? not sure if thats the case, I need to re read the books, the only thing I remember about the toa ignika is that it created itself a body after seeing his other "guardians" fail in protecting itself

1) The Mata Nui robot already woke up and has since been taken apart. But a Toa can CHOOSE to become a Turaga when its destiny is achieved, it doesn't have to become one.

2) Once you are a Turaga, you cannot become a Toa again.

3) There was nothing to bring back to life. His body dissolved into energy and that energy was used to kick-start the heart. Nothing was left of Matoro. And no, Toa Ignika was not the spirit of Matoro. The spirit of Matoro was dead and gone.

1) Based on the fact that Mata Nui has never flown outside of Solis Mgna, how many planets are there in this system (SM, that is)?

2) What race does Sentrakh belong to? Well, we know he was created thanks to some DH experiments, but exactly how did that happen? Maybe TSO "combined" several DHs via mutations?

3) How did Devastator come to life? We know he came from the fiery crag on Karzahni, but how? Could Karzahni possibly create him?

4) Kind of a strange question. Is it possible to create Nuva versions of Ignika/Vahi/Mask of Creation?

5) Could Berix possibly be Velika's agent? He had access to the Great Beings' lab and could possibly communicate with him from there.

Also, you wrote:

2.1) I mean, did the GB create these pocket dimensions? If not, how did they appear? Moreover, for instance, the Kestora were present in "City of Silver".

1. What Ninjago character you created would you like to see in a set, if the opportunity presented itself?
2. Was the Golden armor something only Tahu was destined to use, or would it be compatible with any other Toa Nuva?
3. How do you feel about Thor being a girl?Joking

Hello Greg,

That sounded creepy. Anyways, I have a few questions about BIONICLE:

1. What do you mean by the Matoran being biomechanical? Are they just organs inside a metal suit?

2. Why was the Golden Armour built for Tahu Mata, if he was destined to become a Nuva? Wouldn't it be more logical for it to be made fot Tahu Nuva?

3. Are there more Toa than we know of, or do we know every Toa on Spherus Magna?

I would also like to say thank you for the amazing story you wrote.

From,

Minefan101

Thank you again, Mr. Farshtey.  I have some new questions as well:

  1. Were there any types of long-distance communication in the MU (not exactly telephones, but something similar, such as radio or comlinks)?
  2. Did Matoran have other kinds of entertainment besides sports like Kohlii and Akilini?  Perhaps something like an amusement park or a cinema?
  3. In a similar manner of thinking, would cities like Metru-Nui have apartment complexes, or would each Matoran have an individual home?
  4. Is there any way (experimental or actual) that a Toa could willingly or unwillingly switch elements?  Would the Vortixx or Nynrah Ghosts have been interested in this idea?
  5. Could a Matoran exposed to Energized Protodermis gain control of his/her elemental power as a side effect of the contact?

Thank you again!

I'm not sure, but I think these got buried...

This question got buried. It refers to Velika's agents on Bara Magna.

1. After you confirmed that some of the 2009 characters we met were secretly acting as agents for Velika, I ran a thread on BZPower where forumgoers theorized as to who was most likely to be an informant. These were the top four suspects. Could you confirm whether any of the following were acting as informants for Velika?

  • Vastus
  • Atakus
  • Berix
  • Metus

Thank you for your time.

Was there any canon name given to the Mask of Creation like how the Mask of Life is called the Ignika and the Mask of sheilding is called the Hau?

Was this something you felt you wanted to keep hidden like "the Shadowed One's" name or did you just never think up of a name? If it never had one in the first place, what name (non canon obviously) would you give it if you where to name it?

Thanks for reading!

Hi Mr. Farshtey, I'm a huge fan of Bionicle and I loved your writing for the series. I have a few questions.

1. I know you've said hypothetically that if Bionicle were to return, you'd rather it be a reboot than a direct continuation so that newer fans could get into the story. But how would you feel about a continuation that took place after the events of the original but maybe being far into the future or at least just a seperate storyline, such that the events of the original happened, but all the details of it are not crucial to the immediate story?

2. Are Agori and Glatorian the same/related species or completly seperate? Like, are the Glatorian maybe a warrior class of Agori, or perhaps there is a recessive "Glatorian Gene" to explain why they are more rare.

3. I know that Agori and Glatorian are a naturally occuring organic species, but does this mean they reproduce. And If so how? (I know this is a kid's site so you don't have to go into detail. Mainly I'm asking if they give birth, or lay eggs, or what not?)

4. Was the Order of Mata Nui aware of the true nature of the Matoran Universe, at least to some degree?

5. About how much elemntal power do Turaga have? I have a head cannon that they can't control their element, but they still have a connection to it and can sense disturbances in it, and I was wondering if this was close to accurate?

6. In the Mutran Chronicles, Pridak said that he and the other Barraki were Mata Nui's choosen rulers. Did Mata Nui actually entrust them with that reponsibility or was this simply how they justified themselves, kind of like how real world rulers justify themselves by saying they are backed by God.

Thank you so much for doing this chat, it means so much to me and a lot of other fans. It shows me that, even though BIonicle officially ended, it hasn't died.

Greg,

1. Does Velika have a degree of omniscience? Did he when he entered the Po-Matoran body? Does he see more than a normal Matoran would?

2. Do the Great Beings know Velika is one of them? When did they find out?

3. How large is/was Tren Krom in relation to a Toa?

4. Is the realm of Karzahni underground?

5. How did the Matoran achieve sentience?

6. Do you play piano?

Thanks

If Vezon could become stronger with kinetic energy (physical hits by him or directed at him), does that mean that potential energy (not hitting Vezon, or dodging Vezon's attacks) is his weakness?
