Was there any canon name given to the Mask of Creation like how the Mask of Life is called the Ignika and the Mask of sheilding is called the Hau?

Was this something you felt you wanted to keep hidden like "the Shadowed One's" name or did you just never think up of a name? If it never had one in the first place, what name (non canon obviously) would you give it if you where to name it?

Thanks for reading!

I don't think it was ever given a name. And I can't suggest names for anything since there are no more legally approved names.

1) Based on the fact that Mata Nui has never flown outside of Solis Mgna, how many planets are there in this system (SM, that is)?

2) What race does Sentrakh belong to? Well, we know he was created thanks to some DH experiments, but exactly how did that happen? Maybe TSO "combined" several DHs via mutations?

3) How did Devastator come to life? We know he came from the fiery crag on Karzahni, but how? Could Karzahni possibly create him?

4) Kind of a strange question. Is it possible to create Nuva versions of Ignika/Vahi/Mask of Creation?

5) Could Berix possibly be Velika's agent? He had access to the Great Beings' lab and could possibly communicate with him from there.

Also, you wrote:

2.1) I mean, did the GB create these pocket dimensions? If not, how did they appear? Moreover, for instance, the Kestora were present in "City of Silver".

I think this got buried.

Hey Greg,

I feel that the response to revealing "The Shadowed One's" real name would be much different than revealing Teridax's name. I really think you should reveal it. Here are six key points:

  1. TSO played a side role in the main story. Most of the people hated Teridax's name because Makuta was an early BIONICLE villian who was a key part in their early childhood. Because he only played a side role in the storyline, all things considered, and rarely intruded on any childhood memories, it would not be a "BIG RUINING REVEAL."
  2. People who would read it aren't going to hate BIONICLE for it. Pretty much the only BIONICLE fans left have gone through having Teridax's name be revealed, and few members of the community dislike it to this day. And really, what do you think it's going to do, impact set sales for the worse?
  3. It isn't going to be used in the story. Having Makuta's name revealed to be "Teridax" affected his storyline role, how he was reffered to, etc. With TSO, it is a moniker he has abandoned, and for all intents and purposes he is still The Shadowed One.
  4. We already know TSO is not his real name. This is a major thing to factor in. The idea that Teridax is not the only Makuta, and that his name is not Makuta, is the main problem most people had with it.
  5. It isn't retcon. Makuta was never refered to as Teridax until much later, which angered fans. TSO has always been known as his false name, and has been that for quite a while.
  6. People want to know what it is. I know what your response would be "why do you care?" The thing is, BIONICLE's fandom has perservered through five years of it being discontinued. Most people would be fascinated to know that that big secret (minor secret, really, but) that was troubling them all their childhood would be revealed.

No. We don't need to know the Shadowed One's name! It already sounds cool, and besides, there is no need to do it. It adds to the mystery of the character, and that asthetic does not need to be changed.

About the shadow Takanuvas that Tridax brought in:

1. Are all/some of those Takanuvas wearing the Avohkii?

2. If so, did the Shadow leeches drain the light from the Avohkii itself? If so, would it appear black? Would it give Kraahkan-like powers to the user?

3. Would a Shadow Takanuva be able to use the powers of the Mask of Light?

Thanks! Smile

1. Although Jaller has always been depicted as wearing a Great Hau as a Matoran, it was a Noble mask when Lhikan gave it to Vakama (also, all of the written material refers to it as a Noble mask).  So are the depictions incorrect, or was the scene from Legends of Metru Nui (in which the mask appears to reshape itself into the standard Great form when Jaller wears it) canon?

Velika have transfered his consciousness into a Matoran body. The powers of Great Beigns are of technological origin, probably thanks to different kind of implants.

So can the Great Beings totally change or modify their bodies, ending in GBs with a whole lot of possibles physical forms and compositions (Organic/Robotic/Organic and Mechanic/Vegetal/ect...), depending of their needs or their preferences?

And if they can, was that already made?

1. Are Kraata still going around and infecting masks on Spherus Magna.

2. If a mask if infected by a wild kraata, currently on Spherus Magna, what will the person with the infected mask do? What I mean is, on the BS01 Infected Kanohi page, besides the infected kanohi giving the bearer the mask power, it also says that it grants a Makuta control over the bearer. Only one Makuta exists, Miserix but I'm talking about the random wild kraata just slithering around. What would happen to the person wearing the infected Kanohi? Carry out the will of the deceased Makuta?

3. When answering these questions, do you "fact-check" your answers from time to time with BS01?

4. Did the Makuta Teridax of the Kingdom AU wear a Kanohi Kraahkan? I just read that he forced Icarax out  of his own body to claim it as his own, and then began absorbing the other Makuta for their mass and what not. When this happened, did Icarax claim the Kanohi Kraahkan from the silver sea yet? Is the Makuta of the Kingdom wearing a Mask of Scavenging, since that is what Icarax wore before he wore he Kraahkan? Or did the Icarax of this AU did not go find the Kraahkan?

5. Has anyone gone to fetch Jaller's/Lhikan's Hau from, I think it was, Daxia?

6. How exactly did Jaller's/Lhikan's Hau survive a Nova Blast anyways? Does it contain Protosteel, like the Adaptive Kanohi?

7. Did any other masks survive the Nova Blast on Karzahni?

8. I believe you once said that if a piece of the golden armor fell from Tahu, he would loose the Kraata powers. Does this mean that if he puts down his shield or sword he would lose his powers?
