Hey Greg, how involved were you with the writing of the new story bible? Also, how dark or light is the tone of the new story compared to the old story?

I was not involved at all and I can't discuss details of the new story.

Hello, Mr. Farshtey. I must ask a certai questions, in regards to Biosector01.

Most people are believing the new BIONICLE will be a reboot, since it seems to be pointed at a new generation. So what should we do about stuff on Biosector01 if the new BIONICLE is a reboot? Would we make seperate articles, or would a new wiki altogether be nessecary to account to the information on the BIONICLE reboot wiki?

Thanks for answering!

~Mr.Brickguy

This is something we should hold off discussing until you guys have a better idea of what new BIONICLE is, but I don't think it will be a major issue. Even if it were a complete reboot -- it would be no different than, say, the DC Encyclopedia where they have to deal with multiple different universes for the same characters.

Just wanted to say a quick something --

A lot of you guys are BIONICLE fans, many from way back. It's no secret that you are some of the smartest, most loyal, and most dedicated fans out there. You, and you alone, have carried the torch for the line over the last four years. Hopefully, you will feel rewarded for your efforts by 2015 BIONICLE.

Regardless, I wanted to take this opportunity to say that I am really proud to be associated with you, and you should be really proud of yourselves.

Thanks, Mr. Farshtey! Happy Thank you for staying loyal to us the whole way.

I can't wait to see what the story team has cooked up for us. I'll definitely try to get a set or two. Smile

I do have a question, by the way, something that I don't fully understand:

What would the Alternate Teridax be trying to do, now that he is out of the GSR and hanging out on a planet totally alien to him? He's a pretty powerful character, after all. Will he try and help rebuild society? Does Velika know that he exists, and, if so, will he try to eliminate him?

FiroxSurprisedHappy! So glad to see youHappy! Haven't seen you in FOREVER!

Um... Joking I haven't been gone or anything like that. Joking

I've kind of been hanging around in the CWRP, just like always. Haven't we crossed paths? I thought you were still with the Droid HQ. If you want to hang out, just check out The Wampa's Den Diner.

In 2001 the 'quest for the masks' was central, but in later years almost all Toa only had one mask and didn't bother getting others. Was there any particular reason for this?

Why did Pohatu get such a poor showing in MOL? The others all get to use their elemental powers but he only gets to throw his claws a couple of times. He doesn't even use his mask of speed when running, which leads to him getting blasted by Turahk.

1) Yes. ,Mask packs sold well in 2001, not in 2002, so we stopped doing them after 2002. There was therefore no reason to bring searching for masks into the forefront of the story, since we weren't making additional ones available.

2) You had a lot of characters to cram into a limited amount of story time. Pohatu was not prioritized because, based on set sales, he was the least popular Toa.

Greg, can you please answer these questions?

1a) What was Velika doing during Teridax's reign, and what would he have done if Teridax targeted him for elimination?

1b) Also, was Velika aware of Teridax's "Plan" all along?

1c) The answer to this is probably obvious, but was Velika concerned about Teridax threatening to conquer/destroy SM?

2) Who's stronger, Toa or Skrall? We know that both of them are physically stronger then Glatorian.

3) If it's okay with you, can you finally reveal what the brains of MU inhabiiants are made of?

4) Does the new story bible go into detail about the anatomies of the characters? I always enjoyed the biomechanical aspect of the old Bionicle storyline because it gave it a sci-fi feel.

1) Biding his time, and it is doubtful Makuta would have targeted him, since to Makuta he was just one more Matoran.

1b) No

1c) I don't think so. Velika helped build the robot, so he knew how to destroy it.

2) Toa would have more endurance in a fight and so last longer, because they are primarily mechanical. Skrall would tire out faster.

3) To be honest, that is not something I have decided myself

4) No. None of the story bibles, new or old, have ever spent time on anatomy details.

Recently people found out that the LEGO Bionicle Facebook page had existed since July. One of the contacts involved in the leaks said that if the Bionicle 2015 info was to get leaked, LEGO would probably delay the official announcement. So do you have any knowledge on if they originally intended to release the announcement around July and if the leaks caused LEGO to purposely delay it? (Because it certainly built up excitement and interest.)

Mr. Farshtey,

If the new bionicle were to release sets of old characters, who would be the character you would most want a new set of? I don't mean a complete re-release of an old set, just a new version of a character.

Thanks.

Will any new BIONICLE 2015 info, story, maybe maps, comics or something, be in the LEGO Club Magazine in 2015?

It was never intended to be announced in July. That is way too early. There is no point in getting people hyped about a new release six months before they are going to be able to buy sets, because then you have to try and sustain that hype over six months.

Questions about the device that knocks out elemental power from The Yesterday Quest...

1. Was Glu correct in guessing that it was a ranged weapon?

2. Does it only work on toa, or all elementally empowered beings, such as bohrok and certain glatorian?

3. Does it directly affect the toa and shutoff their power, or just the expression of their power? for example, (assuming it's a ranged weapon, as glu (sorry for spelling his name wrong) thought), could a toa standing outside the range still use his power and have an effect on a mass of his element that was inside the range? (for example, could a toa of earth outside the range still raise a column of dirt that was inside the range?)

4. does the device shut off mask powers as well?
