Hello Greg,

I would like to ask how did you know about that canonization debate going on.

Seriously, it is unbelievable that some fans have the audacity to say that the fans hold the right to shut down canon.

Simple. Just because I am no longer allowed to post on BZP does not mean I don't visit the site. I have visited the site a number of times over the years.

But did you not have an idea of roughly where the story was going?

Hey Greg:

1) Do you know where the Matoran are constructed? I believe you said that Metru Nui was one such location, but do you know where in the city? I always thought they were constructed someplace hidden underneath the city, and then brought to the surface.

2) I hate to keep bothering you with this question, but can you finally tell of the nature of the MU inhabitant's brains (I know it sounds weird)? I feel like it matters because it would influence the light in which we see them. For example, if they have mechanical brains, then the Toa and Matoran would truly feel like artificial, AI creations originally intended to be non-sapient. It would make them truly alien and all the more interesting, especially in their interactions with SM inhabitants. If they have organic brains, then the Toa and Matoran would feel more like natural creations. They'd be less alien (and to me, less interesting), but more relatable. It would also hint at better realtions with the Agori.

There are a lot of theories on the true nature of protodermis at Bzpower

hi mr Greg I have some question about the powers of makuta to ask you.

1. a makuta is it strong enough to destroy the Protosteel of a sudden punch?

2 Is that the makuta have powers that are always active as the accuracy, the invulnerability, dodging and endurance to hot and cold extreme? And telepathy like that it would be impossible to lie to a makuta.

3. a makuta is much more powerful than the queens Bahrag true? so why the toa nuva have more facility to defeat the makuta in 2008 that bahrags in 2002?

4. a makuta Can combine it powers such as telepathy with teleportation for teleport beyond its limit?

5. makuta Can controlled a computers like Skynet in Terminator?

6. When Teridax has create the shadows of the Toa is what he create them with his powers of darkness?

7. Is the makuta have control over magnetism which is limited to control the metal or he can do other things such as create a protective field around them? If it just limited to controlled the metal is what a makuta can easely raise a object larger than them?

No. With main story, I always knew how the year was going to end. With side stories, I found out how it would end shortly before you did. In the same way, when I get heroes into death traps, I have no idea how to get them out, which makes their desperation more realistic in the story. I get them in, I go think about it for a while, and I come up with a way to get them out.

Back when Orson Welles was playing the Shadow on the radio, he was notorious for never reading the script before he went on the air live. He said if he knew what was going to happen next, it would rob his performance of a lot of its drama. I write the same way. I set up the situation and then I let the characters tell me the story.

Wow, Greg Farshtey. Wow, I used to read those comic books in the LEGO Magazines and think "What a cool, amazing guy." You have such an imagination. I loved the ending of the Phantoka comics, but I felt sad when Ignika died. That was such a great comic series, and I am so glad that Bionicle will continue!

Well, I happen to have a couple of 2004/2005-based questions.

My first one is one that we probably all know the answer to, but I might as well ask for confirmation: Did the district of Metru Nui which Kanoka disks used to make a Kanohi mask were from affect the color of the mask? For example, would an Enlarge disk and a Regeneration disk, both from Ta-Metru, result in a red Kanohi Hau?

An' now, the second one: As it was introduced in the Metru Nui era, did you ever think of what Kanoka disks would be used to make the Kanohi Volitak, Mask of Stealth?

1) Based on the fact that Mata Nui has never flown outside of Solis Mgna, how many planets are there in this system (SM, that is)?

2) What race does Sentrakh belong to? Well, we know he was created thanks to some DH experiments, but exactly how did that happen? Maybe TSO "combined" several DHs via mutations?

3) How did Devastator come to life? We know he came from the fiery crag on Karzahni, but how? Could Karzahni possibly create him?

4) Could Berix possibly be Velika's agent? He had access to the Great Beings' lab and could possibly communicate with him from there.

1, 2) Not something w\e ever determined

3) The origins of the DH were created by fans, so they know the answers to these questions better than I do.

4) No, Berix has already been ruled out.

1) No. Masks change color to reflect who is wearing them.

2) No, I really didn't worry about Kanoka mixes. They weren't relevant to the story I was telling.

1) Not with one punch, no

2) Makuta can only use one of their powers at a time. And as far as telepathy goes, there are beings capable of shielding their minds against mind-reading

3) First of all, you are talking about two different Toa teams. And the Makuta in 2008 could not shapeshift and were ultimately defeated by Teridax betraying them, not the Toa.

4) No

5) No

6) No

7) Makuta have limited magnetism powers, so I do not know that they could use it to lift items vastly bigger than they are.

1) No, I don't

2) I'd rather not. I am already getting screamed at for canonizing things, and I also think that if every mystery gets explained, BIONICLE loses some of its appeal.

2. From which metal is made the great spirit robot? Protosteel?
Or exsidian?

3. What is the most solid between the protosteel and the exsidian
The metal that the GB have used to contain the EP.

4. When you said that the GB are the ultimate scientists what are the thing that would be possible and
Impossible for the GB? Is that the GB could mastered the interstellar flight and spaciotemporal? Would
Be possible for the GB to accelerate the evolution of the other species?

Can you answer to my question please. Thank you

1) Velika believes he is offering a future filled with peace and order, and since the Toa are supposed to be preserving both, he believes they will ultimately side with him if his victory looks inevitable.

2) An alloy made from both

3) I don't understand your question

4) No. We know that they do not have interstellar capabilities, because Mata Nui did not, nor is there any time travel in BIONICLE.

Is it possible that some of the Vorox were spies for Velika before going mad? Or maybe the spies never lot their sanity and pretended to be primitive, in the hopes of surviving long enough for Velika's return? Perhaps they gave Velika enough information so that Velika would know the status of the Bara Magna Sand Tribe, and give it to Kabrua(The Bota  Magna Vorox guy)?

Just trying to think through what you mentioned about Velika having hidden agents. Maybe Velika would find a way to cure the sanity of the Vorox and create an army of them.

It is possible that a Vorox may have served this purpose prior to their devolution, but I do not think it was a large number of them.
