1) Yes. Having those powers had nothign to do with wearing the Kraahkan

2)" Kraata and krana are two different things.

3) The Codrex was a spherical dome in Karda Nui where the Toa's canisters were kept

But in The Kingdom alternate universe, he was a Toa...

Right. But where in that story does it state that is Velika the Great Being? As I recall, that was Matoran Velika, not Velika with a Great Being inside.

Can you explain why Velika can't become a toa?

As I understand it, he's quite matoran, except for his mind, so what bars him from becoming a toa?

He's a Matoran physically, but not mentally. He does not have Matoran AI, and what's buried in the AI plays a part in whether you are destined to be a Toa or not. So a Matoran who is not really a Matoran is not going to become a Toa.

Sort of like Puraido, except Puraido is a trans-dimensional ultra powered Shadow creature inhabiting a Matoran body Joking

May I call you Greg? I would like to ask you which would be the best way to get a book published about custom bionicle charaters? I am currently working on a series of four chapter books similar in size to the bionicle books that you have written, and I have the first one done and the second at about eighty percent. And I just wanted to know if it would be worth the time to finish the rest of the books. If you wish, I could post a sample of the first chapter if that would help.

Please respond as soon as possible.

Here's the situation. Since LEGO Company owns BIONICLE, only a publisher who has the BIONICLE license can publish a BIONICLE book. So you would need to go through those publishers. Given that they already have a full slate of books, I am not sure they would be interested in stories that don't relate to LEGO product.

I figured as much. Thanks for answering so quickly. I wondered if it was a possiblity to publish the book without the BIONICLE name. I could do something like: based off of the Bionicle series. I've seen a few Star Wars fanfiction in my local library that have done that.

Thanks for all the help! Smile

I don't know about that. I think if you are using the trademark, you have to get permission from the company that owns it.

I just read that myself in the LEGO legal section, perhaps I can reword some things, if not i'll simply ask permision. Thanks for all the help, i've been leary about continuing to work on the books, but now that I have a plan, I can finish my work on them. Expect your name in the aknowledgements section!Party

And I think I can speak on behalf of the entire BIONICLE fan population when I say that you are an insperation to all of us, and thank you for all the stories you've written, and all the help and advice you have given us here in this topic alone.

Ah, that makes sense. Although, couldn't he, with his Great Being science, build a toa body and transfer his Mind/AI into it?

Yo Greg!

Since glass is pretty much melted and cooled sand, could a theoretical toa of sand control glass as well, similarly to how toa of water control water as well as liquid protodermis?

4) He couldn't have become a Toa Inika, he already was a Toa at that point. And he was unable to pass through the archway into Karzahni's realm because it banished all light, so he could not accompany Jaller and his group.

The Great Beings did not have a base inside the robot. The GBs were on Bara Magna and Bota Magna all throughout this story.
