So... just an observation I made.

Irnakk: Irnakk is a Skakdi creepypasta. Said to be the ultimate nightmare to the Skakdi. And apparently has something to do with invading dreams if I'm not mistaken?

The golden skinned being: Has dream related abilities. Has gold skin, and is a fusion comprised mostly of Skakdi.

My question is this: Are there any similarities between these two entities, and if so, was there to be any relation between them in the cancelled gen 1 stories?

No, Irnakk does not invade dreams. Irnakk manifests your fears. At any rate, no, I am not aware of any similarities and I had no plans to bring Irnakk back in the serials. Irnakk was only created to start with because he was a combiner model I had been asked to work into story.

Is the great mask of water breathing exclusive to water, or would it also function in liquid protodermis such as that found in the silver sea, and/or the vaccum of space?

It was originally created for use with liquid protodermis, but no, it would not work in the vacuum of space, anymore than  fish could breathe in a vacuum.

Here's something I noticed:

The Matoran that would eventually become the Toa Inkia/Marhi (Hahli, Matoro, Nuparu, etc.) all wore the same masks as the Toa while they were Matoran (Kongu had a Miru, Nuparu had a Parki, etc.). My question is: Did you always plan for them to become Toa and had their masks like that on purpose? Or did you make them Toa because of their masks?

The answer is neither. No one was discussing 2006 story when the original Matoran sets were designed, and it was not a given they would be Toa in the future. When it was decided we would do a story without the Nuva in '06., there were a lot of discussions about who the six new Toa would be. So it was probably late '04 or early '05 before we decided on the line-up.

Why did the original Bionicle theme quit in the middle of a storyline?

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking, so I will try to answer both possibilities --

1) The BIONICLE playtheme ended because of declining set sales. The main storyline for that was wrapped up in the final book in 2010, which was online only, as I recall.

2) The serials ended because I had just become a father, had far less writing time, and what I had needed to be devoted to things I was being paid to write so I could provide for my daughter. Writing the comics and the serials was never a part of my actual job at LEGO and I was never paid extra for it - it was work I did in my own time because I wanted to. And while I have taken heat for that, which is understandable, I put my family first and I won't apologize for that.

Well that settles it Joking You can't blame a guy for putting his family first!JokingJokingJoking

The reason they had the same masks as the Toa was that there was no real reason to create six completely new mask molds for the villager sets. Plus having the same masks as the Toa was an easy way for younger kids to identify which Toa went with which tribe.

Visited, sure, but not taken up permanent residence.

Is there anything in the bionicle storyline you wish you could have gone back and done differently, or changed?

Hello Mr Greg

1.The Zamor sphere that Hakhan has used to steal Brutaka's powers could it steal the power of a Makuta?

2.The planets of the Solis Magna system have they all the word《Magna》 at the end of their names? Such as example, Terra Magna, Nuva Magna I say anything but as I mentioned, it's just an example.

3.Does the Great Beings have used a source of power to create the Ignika and maybe the mask of creation?

4.Spherus Magna has the most advanced civilization of the Solis Magna system?

5.If someone combines the three legendary masks he becomes omnipotent or perhaps nigh omnipotent.

Hello, Greg!

I have some friends who are into Exo-Force, and we were wondering if you could share any quick plot points of the unreleased book 6, Golden Doom?  We're really interested in preserving any information we can about Exo-Force, and we'd love to hear any details that you can recall, if you are willing, like which characters the book was centered around, and what the general villain arc would have been like.

Thank you so much for your time!
