  1. Is it plausible for the barraki to raise an army after teridax's fall to conquer SM?
  2. Is it plausible that Makuta Teridax had reserves of Antidermis somewhere that survived?
  3. Were there more of Annona's species, or was she one of a kind?
  4. Does the Energized Protodermis Entity represent any being native to SM?
  5. What is the Origin of Energized protodermis? How did it gain sentience? Is it considered a 'native species' to Spherus Magna alongside Annona?
  6. If I recall correctly, you stated there were just under 20 Great beings. There are about 18 differant elements in Canon Bionicle. Is there any correlation between this? (I.E. are GBs specifically attuned to a specific element?)
  7. Is there more of the GB race somewhere in the universe, or are they the last of their kind?
  8. Do Great beings have any equals on Spherus Magna? Is the EP Entity considered their equivelant?
  9. Is tehre a correlation between Tren krom and Annona's similar appearance?

That's all for now, I look forward to your answers! Happy

Ummm... greg, did you see this?

5) It is a natural substance on SM. And it may well have always been sentient

5. could it be that it's simply a property of protodermis to gain sentience over time? that would explain why the matoran became sentient when they were programmed to simply be machines. velika's involvment in the process could simply have been speeding it along.

buried

I would say no, because EP is a natural substance, and regular proto is not. Regular proto is synthetic.

No idea. Not involved with G2.

Hold on, Greg! I know I'm late in the game, but I have also read your books, and I know you played a major part in Bionicle. You're credited in the latest video of Bionicle's webisodes - is that merely for the original concept, then? If so, who is developing the new story for Bionicle?

Just thought I'd ask. Wink

Well, I didn't come up with the original concept for G1 or G2 -- G1 already existed before I came to work at LEGO Company, and G2 was mapped out before I ever saw any of it. There is a story team for G2, just as there was for G1, consisting of I am sure people in the same roles as we had for the G1 team. I am simply not on it.

So, I guess this means that if we have any questions about Gen2, we should ask... Ryder Windham?Thinking

Pretty much, yes. He is writing the books and the graphic novels and, I am sure, working closely with the G2 story team.

...And Star Wars, according to Wikipedia. Does that mean he does LEGO Star Wars, or just Star Wars in general?

I'm waiting for the Toa to encounter Darth Vader. Joking

I believe it's just regular Star Wars.  I know he's written books on Rebels and also one on Darth Maul, but I'm not sure about LEGO Star Wars...

Ryder has nothing at all to do with LEGO Star Wars. He is a freelance writer who was hired by the various publishers to do BIONICLE work.

Hey Greg,

If the Toa Suva in the Great Temple was only used once (according to an article on BS01), how did Lhikan and his team transform into Toa?

Why do you assume their transformation would have happened on Metru Nui?

 The transformation can happen anywhere.

Just a few more questions Mr. Greg, thanks for all your hard work in answering these

1. I know that it's written down somewhere, but what is the origin of krana? And in relation to them, are the Inika masks similar, in that they're both organic and "alive" in a sense?

2. Since the Golden Skinned Being feeds off dreams, if enough agori, matoran, toa, etc. came in and fed it good dreams of life, prosperity, and peace, would the GSB make all those things happen instead, resulting in an even better society of Spherus Magna? (And if so, can the GSB be controlled if enough related dreams are fed to it?)

3. Since the Red Star rebuilds, reanimates, brings back to life, etc. beings from the MU, is that why the matoran inika were transformed into toa when the RS's lightning bolts struck? Did it supercharge not only their elemental powers (elements w\ electricity), but also their life form?

4. Which type of toa is more powerful (minus masks, weapons, etc.)- Inika, Nuva, or Hagah?

5. How far in advance was Bionicle planned? (2011, 2012, etc.)

6. When did you and the rest of the Bio team first learn about HF?

Thanks!

A question came to mind the other day, Do masks affect the field of vision of the user like masks in real life?

Hello Mr Greg

1.  Teridax has always worn the mask of shadows? Or he wore another mask before receiving the Kraahkan?

2.  Before that the teleportation system of the Red Star crashes the bad people (Ahkmou style) dead and who were sent to the Red Star were they returned to the MU or the bad people who have been sent into the Red Star stays in the Red Star for prevent them to harming the Matoran?

3.  Who created the mask of shadows? Artakha? Great Beings?

4.  The advanced users of telepathy like the Makuta, Tren Krom or Artakha can they do astral projections and the psychometry with their telepathy?

5.  One of my friends told me that there was a secret about the Red Star but it has never been revealed due to the fact that the story has not been concluded is that true? If so, can you please tell us what it is? Thank you!

6.  In the Federation of fear Tren Krom had succeeded to create a stone wall around his island to prevent Brutaka and the others to escape it. My question is whether if TK would have control over the stone or if he had access to defense systems of the island that TK could controlling with his telepathy.

7.  If you could have continued the story of Bionicle you would revived Teridax?

So, here is something that caught my mind.

1)The Great Beings species, while the Great Beings were still active, assuming their species aren't Agori/Glatorian, were they around?

2)Did they disappear during the Shattering? They obviously aren't around anymore.

3) Did they die or are they somewhere in hiding (I don't see a reason for hiding through).

How much of the message boards do you monitor, Greg? I was wondering, because perhaps you could help with my topics I started about the revived Piraka and Barraki.

That is, if you have enough spare time... Clock I'll understand if you can't, but I just thought I'd ask! Happy

Hey, everybody! I think the mods will agree with me that we're swarming Greg with too many questions at a time. Greg does a little bit more than just answer questions, so if you're disappointed that he's not responding to all of them, perhaps you should try feeding them to this forum one post at a time. Clock Be patient for his response!

Also, before you post a question, check out any previous Bionicle Gen1 material (books, comics, blogs etc.) to make sure your question doesn't already have an answer. Nerd

...And it seems that people are not taking heed to this, because this is now old news! Joking

I do look at other boards sometimes, but the mods do not want me to post outside of my topic.

Well, we have not visited the whole planet. There are plenty of places on Spherus Magna they could be that we simply never got to in story.

I haven't seen any evidence that it affects peripheral vision negatively.

Hi Mr. Farshtey! Happy(should I call you that?) I just wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE your work and that I'm a SUPER big fan of yours. I have been wondering... Will the Ninjago Graphic Novel series continue? Somebody has probably already asked this, but to be perfectly honest, I don't want to scroll through 700 pages to find it. Joking Also, have you written any non-illustrated novels? I love your work, and I think you do what you do awesomely! Happy Heart

1) The Papercutz series is over with. The Little Brown series just started, with the first book, Tournament of Elements, out already. I did not write it, I just wrote the source material in the back.

2) Yes, I wrote a few dozen BIONICLE novels back during the first run of the line, five Hero Factory novels, and I had two other novels out back in the early '90s.
