Perhaps, yet their use of swords makes them vulnerable to gun users, and no villians use the guns. After all, in batman, the villians use guns, and swords aren't very common, yet in ninjago, swords are the norm, and we never see one gun, only some eye lasers (like X-Men! Joking). I know it's a bit nitpicky of me, but I am a bit of a weapons strategy/ history nerd Joking

I just feel that the inclusion of the advanced tech disrupts the story, because it's not a group of ninja, sometimes growing, in ancient asia, it's a group of ninja, sometimes growing, in 2349.

Couple things:

1) Actually, Flintlocke's main weapon this year was his gun. But LEGO as a whole is not real big on showing characters firing real guns, because that's offensive to people in a lot of our markets. The exception to that is licensed properties, where that may be a part of the story.

2) NINJAGO was never meant to be set in "ancient Asia" or its equivalent. What you were seeing in the early years were rural areas. After the first few years, the action moved toward NINJAGO City, so tech was more evident. But I can point to a number of comic characters who rely on swords or knives and don't use guns at all. Also, I don't consider a character who can melt or freeze someone's gun as being "vulnerable" to it. Remember, you're essentially talking about super-powered characters here ... if I can create a tornado of fire whenever I want, your gun really isn't going to bother me much.

Perhaps, yet Natsu Dragneel was vulnerable to guns, and he could roar out fire balls, and do all sorts of fire dragon things. (I haven't really been keeping up with the recent ninjago because I sorta became disenchanted).

Magic doesn't make invulnerability. Midnight of the Oracion Seis had the power to bend space and light, but was defeated with a simple weapon. However, I understand that using firearms may be considered offensive by some groups.

No idea. I "consulted" on G2 for a short while (which means I read the story bible and gave some feedback), but I had nothing to do with the story in any way, before or since release. So no idea why they are mentioning me at all.

You're correct. But invulnerability in a hero is boring. And carrying a gun or a laser does not make you immune to someone else's gun or laser. Plus a lot of heroes (Batman, Spider-Man) don't use guns because they feel it makes them no better than the people they fight.

I kind of doubt it. The people the videos are aimed at are probably too young to remember my run on BIONICLE, so I don't think my name would carry any weight with them.

1) It's a good question. I don't know whether or not it would be necessary for Krahka to be changing herself to that extent for her power to work, there is probably room for debate.

2) In terms of outward appearance, yes.

3) Well, she seemed pretty intelligent to me and she certainly became more well-spoken as she copied the Metru.

4) We have seen a gate directed at someone by an Olmak wearer, but I do not believe the gate automatically sucks people in. It can be used to envelop someone, but if it automatically drew people in, it would be drawing in the mask user all the time.

5) No

6) No.

7) Don't know, we never sketched out those powers. Story did not demand it.

8) I never predict the outcome of battles. Too many variables.

1. Could she change her bio-chemical makeup if she wanted? Like in the case when she changed into the smoke creature that grabbed the Metru? Was she still composed of Protodermis?

2. Ok, Thanks.

3.  I was just wondering if her capacity increase the more sentinent beings she copys.

4. Ah that makes sense.

7. So what would they in theory do? I mean infecting masks would be a no go for Kratta of Light. Right?

8. What I am wondering does the power level of twenty Rahkshi of Gravity match or go above the power of level of one Makuta's control of Gravity.

9. Are Spherous Magna's gravity the same as earths?

10. Can Quick Healing be used to fix Protosteel armor as to avoid damage?

11. Can Makuta anterdermis teleport without a suit?

Thank you for you time.

1. What are the Vortixx going to do on Spherus Magna? Are they still evil?

2. What are are the Skakdi going to do on Spherus Magna? Are they still brutal people?

3. Is Roodaka still evil?

4. Where are the Vo-matoran, Ce-matoran, ETC?

5. Where is the Order of Mata Nui and what are they doing?

6. In the Melding alternate universe, is it possible to create "good" Rahkshi with "good" Kraata?

7. What kind of role could Tuma possible play now?

Hello Greg

1) If you ever found a place to continue your BIONICLE story, do you think LEGO would let you do it?

2) If you ever were to start that story up again at any point, would you want to pick back up immidiately where you left off with those two serials, or, since it's been so long, would you want to start sometime later in the timeline?

Good Morning or good afternoon or good night Mr Farshtey( I think that I write it well)
I have some questions:

How could you promote the old Bionicle?

How could you promote the new Bionicle?

Thanks for your attention

1) I can't speak for them .. but if I were them, I would say no. Simply because you run the risk of confusing new fans of BIONICLE, since you are telling a completely different story; and even were that not the case, it does not really benefit LEGO Company any to tell story about a product line that ended seven years ago. They need to keep people focused on what is available now.

2) I would feel I needed to finish the serials.

Yeah, I get that, but I doubt newer fans would notice it, since it would most likely be something that only the really dedicated old fans would pay attention to. I don't think there would be any harm in giving the old fans what they want, since it would just be a prose story on a website, rather than a big media franchise like what the new BIONICLE has.

As for the answer to 1, couldn't you conceivably get permission to continue the story from LEGO and tell them they don't need to promote it seeing as there's no point and just write it in your free time (of course I don't know your schedule, so this may not be possible)?

Couple things:

1) I already did that, there was no interest. And it's not about them promoting the story -- it's about the fact that the story is supposed to promote the sets, and there are no sets to promote.

2) I always wrote the serials in my own time. They were never part of my job.

i already pursued this possibility. I wanted to wrap the serials up before new BIONICLE launched, but there was understandably no interest in doing this. At the very least, someone in Billund would need to be reading what I wrote and doing official approvals for it, and there's no budget to do that for the old line.

No interest?? You mean from LEGO, or from the fans? Because the fans would definately be interested, if that's what you mean.  I suppose I can't speak for the rest of the fans, but, for me, the fact that the story was left unfinished on such an exciting note is something that, to this day, makes me sad. BIONICLE was the first thing I got into as a kid, and the story has kept me coming back all these years. I'm 18 years old now, and this story still means a lot to me.

If you mean no interest from LEGO, then I could understand that, especially if it would cost money to approve. It's really unfortunate, but I get it.
