No interest?? You mean from LEGO, or from the fans? Because the fans would definately be interested, if that's what you mean.  I suppose I can't speak for the rest of the fans, but, for me, the fact that the story was left unfinished on such an exciting note is something that, to this day, makes me sad. BIONICLE was the first thing I got into as a kid, and the story has kept me coming back all these years. I'm 18 years old now, and this story still means a lot to me.

If you mean no interest from LEGO, then I could understand that, especially if it would cost money to approve. It's really unfortunate, but I get it.

From LEGO Company. At the time I asked, they were gearing up to launch G2, so I figured it would make sense to finish off G1. But understandably, it didn't make sense to distract people with old story when they were going to be pushing new story.

1) No. I don't. Logo design was not my dept

2) I am not familiar with Nixie's chart, and I doubt it would make sense to canonize something as the Solis Magna system when that is clearly not what it was ever intended to be and no one was paying attention it when we devised Spherus Magna.

Maybe you weren't, but a lot of fans seems to have. It even made its way into the trivia of Nixie's page on the Bionicle Wiki, though not on BS01. I had to tell the people at the Bionicle Wiki that it wasn't canon though. I still believe it makes sense to canonize though, just like you canonized the fact that the moon-like thing seen in one panel of a comic was a piece of Aqua Magna that had broken off and begun orbiting the planet.

This got buried.

By your theory, though, that would imply that the Solis Magna system only had one planet -- Spherus Magna, which then broke into three pieces. I don't think I want to canonize that the entire solar system consisted of one planet originally.

I know it probably don't have one planet, just that it might be the only one the people of Spherus Magna and the Matoran knew of, without very powerful telescopes and means of sending probes into space. For all we know, those three planets could be their whole universe.

I don't think you saw my reply, though it's been a long time since I wrote this.^ Do you have any thoughts on it? Smile

Well, there are some people who would like that. There are also many who would not, because they feel it robs them of the ability to create their own versions of the answers in their fan fiction. Also, frankly, if you get every single detail explained it robs the original BIONICLE of some of its mystique. I think people would just get bored if they knew every answer to every question.

Dear Mr. Farsthey:

what i meant was to tell us a quick ending to the serials such as the yesterday quest and the powers that be. you don't have to solve all the mysteries such as how krana are formed, but it would be great if you could give us a short ending.

What I mean is that in my theory I assumed that they believed Aqua Magna was the center and Bota and Bara Magna were moons, kind of like the old theory that the Earth was the center of the solar system. And I do not think they would have known if there were any other planets in their system. The Great Telescope doesn't seem to be that powerful, only being able to spot the Red Star and the distant stars. They might have known of other planets, but I don't think so. Maybe before the mind-wipe though...

When reading Bionicle after understanding some Jungian psychology, it becomes apparent that the stories are heavily symbolic and that each character is archetypal. Were you savvy to making a brilliant modern mythology through Jung and Campbell or was it purely through literary study?

10. BS01 says that the remaining FIVE Piraka got fused. Which Piraka didn't get fused and why?

11. Does Krakha still see the Matoran as " top-dwellers"?

12. What will the fusion do on Spherus Magna?

Neither, really. I was being paid to write fun adventure stories for 10-11 year olds, and I happened to be doing it in a vast universe with a lot of potential. Had BIONICLE not been cancelled, i could still be writing novels every six weeks for it.

I don't plot my stories out in advance, so I have no idea how either would have ended. I would have figured out the ending when I got there. I let my characters tell me the story, not the other way around.

Yo Greg. Was it your idea to have Tahu be reverted into Mata form and have him find the Golden Armor thereafter in 2010? I assumed it was LEGO's idea so that the sets would sell better, but I'm still curious.

Hello Mr. Farshtey. I have a few questions to ask if you have the time.

1. On Voya Nui when the Piraka took control of the Matoran with Antidermis spheres and freed by the Inika. If Energized Protodermis destroys Antidermis because Teridax is not destined to transform and does not destroy the host. Would he have been destroyed if he fell into the pool of Protodermis without Takanuva in the film, Mask of Light?

2. Was Velika ever afraid of being destroyed or slaved by the Piraka on Voya Nui? What would he have done if his life was at stake? Would he have revealed himself as a Great Being or find another way out of the situation?

3. Since Teridax (before he took control from Miserix) and Brutaka (before he left for the Order) were both lieutenants in the Brotherhood of Makuta's armies, did they know each other? Or at least did they meet at one point?

4. How did Teridax become Miserix's most trusted lieutenant? And why after the betrayal did Teridax want him deceased? Was there any loyalty between them or friendship before the convocation meeting? Or was Teridax planning to rid himself of Miserix since the beginning?

Thank you for your time. Also going back to read the books as an adult especially Dark Destiny reminds me how great Bionicle was with your storytelling.

Not buried. But I need a certain amount of free time to answer a dozen questions at once, and I haven't had that lately.

That was based on the set designs. Story normally followed sets, not the other way around.

Pt 1:

Hello Greg! I have some questions for you.

1. I read a few posts back that the rhotuka spinner's unique individual special properties theoretically won't work on humans or anything 100% organic or otherworldly because they were designed with matoran universe inhabitants in mind and not anything else. If Roodaka or another vortixx were to theoretically launch a rhotuka spinner at a human or an agori without any mechanical implants, would it cause any or no effect to them considering the fact that all MU inhabitants are completely made out of protodermis (including their organic tissue) and are specifically coded in matoran language (a programming language)?

2. Is The Order Of Mata Nui looking for Takadox after he betrayed Brutaka and the gang in Federation Of Fear, are they disbanded or do they have better things to do?
